Yeah little francine. It is not 1952. Back then Republicans and Democrats all agreed on a number of things to keep America a wonderful place to grow up and to live. One of the most important factors back then was both parties insisted on We the People obeying the laws of the land. Those who did not were tried for their offenses and if guilty were sent to jail or prison depending on the specific charge.

But thanks to the idiotic moronic bullshit Left Wingers in office the past 20 years or so those wrong doers are not arrested, not out on trial, nothing at all of a negative nature will happen to them no matter what their crimes are. Theft is routinely welcomed and not punished. Attacking police officers is welcomed by the Left and the release of the perpetrators without charges is pretty much a certainty. Even a felon who tried to kill his girlfriend by running her down with vehicle was released on a very low bail. That same person went on to murder several people at the now well known Christmas parade by running them down with a vehicle.
