Dominion Camera in Falls Church would be next nearest store from District Camera rather than Ace in Burke or Ashburn. Its about 2 miles north of Tyson's Corner. Dominion is now owned by Ace.

I am using the 18-55, 35 1.4 and 16 1.4 with the x-t1 and have used the 35 1.4 with good results for portraits. Saying that, I'm leaning more towards the 90 for portraiture based on number of users feedback.
I have compared photos shot with the zoom at 35mm and the 35 prime and the prime yields a much better color for me. I wouldn't hesitate buying prime lenses for portrait work, just my take.
I didn't know that; so how else do you protect your photos from being copied or worse stolen ?
Anyway, i'll show her the photos when she gets back as she's back in London again. Thank you.
You have a great imagination for doing this set of photo, i wish i have the knack for such. Thank you for showing.
And with your permission and i suggest watermarking the photos, I would like to share the photos to my daughter who works for Amazon. She's a product manager in one of the division. She's been traveling a lot lately to London.
And so, how does everybody pronounce "Nippon" ?
I bet it is with "nii pon";
Not "ny pon", right ?
I learned to say it as Née Kon as well from a Japanese photographer working with my father in law in Manila. And let's not forget the name Nikon came from the companies " Nippon Kogaku" and Zeiss iKon ( the N part of the name.
I'll go for the color, the reddish paint gave it more impact.
Do you mind giving exact location of the falls ?
We're going up to Tupper Lake in the spring of '17 then heading up to Montreal again, would like to add that to our trip.
he replied by email, $400.
I'm thinking about it.
Yes, i was there for a little over 5 years.
i also remember a place they called 13 cities, there was a Smithsonian team digging up the place when we visited. I was hoping to see the archeological site whenever major excavation reveals a good part of it but time ran out on us.
When did that happen and why?
That was a long time ago, early 1980. I can't tell much due to nature of event but most Americans were told to leave (some forced), only Air France was flying at the time and requires a exit visa to leave which is good for one week only. If not able to leave, then we had to re-apply for exit visa. Had to throw away most of my stuff or were forbidden to take home such as Persian carpets.
It was very difficult time.
Awesome !
There's lots of very interesting photo ops in Iran, and it brings back bad memory of all my photographs confiscated when i left.
We heard some disturbing facts about this place while riding with a Washingtonian couple. Said US taxpayers are paying for part of gardens maintenance to this day. That was 2010 when we were there. I gather they are in high position in DC, the man is a lawyer and the woman works in the embassy. Our airport shuttle picked them by Eiffel tower.
I couldn't find anything on the web about it so nothing to back up what i heard but probably true.
