I should have mentioned - I will be using Natural Gas to fuel it.

I would check with Consumer Reports and see how they rate Home Gas Generators.

It is, in fact, religious fanatics like yourself that are the problem. By the way, allah is just the word God in a different language. It is better to say nothing and have people think you're a fool than to speak and prove it!

If you think he is a religious fanatic. What must you think of those who believe in Islam who murder, rape and enslave people all in the name of Allah??

Thank you Mary Kate I remember Kate Smith and that song from when I was a Kid. She had her own TV show a long time ago and she was great. You posting her singing God Bless America has made my day

Would like to hear from people who have home standby generators. After this last hurricane I decided to get one and am looking for comments from those who own them. Reliability is a big issue I'd like to know about.

Do have access to natural gas? Will it be gasoline operated? My son has one and it is powered by natural gas. He has a Kohler. They like it. I don't know how much they spent for it and the cost of installation. I think in the 4-5 years they owned it they lost power twice. Not for more than a day each time. Gasoline for them was not an option.

I just hate it when a new camera in my model line comes out. The temptation to upgrade, whether we really need to or not, is tremendous.

Now the difference between the 700 and 800 was/is considerable. But that difference doesn't exist between the 800/810 vs the 850. The gap isn't considerable, unless it has a feature that you really want. And I might add, that your 800 has a built in lens where the 850 does not. And of course there's a big gap in the price difference too!

You can kick back in comfort with your 800 and enjoy it. It's still a great camera.

What a beautiful drive for you. Great images. Your area is on my bucketlist. Hope to get there for the fall colors some day. Are the colors just beginning or are all of the leaves just about dropped?

I would say after the rain and the wind during the weekend and on Columbus Day most of the leaves are gone. We have never been to Montana. It is without a doubt a beautiful state.

Mary, glad to see a real report. Sometimes those foliage maps just don't have the latest data.
Nice photos too.

We thought the same. I'm glad we took the drive.

Love the covered bridge. I'm sure it's seen a few cameras in it's time.

I'm sure. It was a little damp when we were there. Had the place to ourselves.
