I again took this photo at Hayden Lake, north Idaho which is on the north side of the city of Coeur d' Alene.
I used 560mm. Hand held shot.
Please use the download.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/1328 - f/16 - ISO @ 1250 - Distance was about 175-200 feet.
Wow! That's a beauty. Congratulations.
It sounds to me as though you have the interest and motivation to do well in photography. May I suggest you explore getting a used DSLR on eBay or Craig's List? You can get some great deals on older cameras and lenses. I think you'll find that almost any DSLR will be a better photography experience than a cellphone. I wish you the best of luck.
When one considers the reason for the vast TSA security network in the first place it is a little disturbing to me that much of it can be bypassed with a relatively small payment to TSA. Am I the only one this bothers? I admit that TSA pre-check is much easier, but I worry about a security hole in there somewhere.
I use both versions of this lens for wildlife and I love them. The new AFS version is superior if you can afford it. I don't think either has ever had a tripod mounted to them. They are a dream to hand hold. I have a Nikon 200-400 f4 as well but hardly ever use it anymore as the 80-400 AFS is that good. I cannot tell the difference in the pics between the two.
Beautiful shot. I do mostly hand held wildlife but doubt I could do that well on the moon. Excellent.
That only works on Windows machines, not Mac.
[quote=Dngallagher]After installation of the new version you end up with two Photoshop folders - one is 2015, the new oner is 2015.5, under the old 2015 folder is a plug-ins folder - what is in there gets moved to the plugins folder of the 2015.5 folder....
For me, most of my plugins are within a separate plugins folder and all that is in my photoshop plugins folder is an alias (shortcut) to where my plugin is... so most of the time I only ever need to move/copy my aliases or my plugin folder from Photoshop...
Yes, the plugins show up in Photoshop and function. Mac's usually need no special installation program in most cases.
That is a big help! Thank you. Even I should be able to do that.

Yep, I only needed to move my folder of aliases to the new folder to get everything hooked up.
Easy Peasy ;)
The release notes stated that you do have to reinstall the 3rd party plug-ins because it is a full version upgrade. I am curious if you have actually tried your plug-ins since moving them over? I am not looking forward to having reinstall all of my plug-ins. It is a pain.
If I recall correctly, you are a Mac guy, is that right? When you say you moved your alias file to a new folder what folders exactly are you speaking about? If that works you could save everyone a lot of trouble.

Very nice shot of Jupiter and its moons, Saturn, and Mars. You are obviously not a novice to astrophotography. I am curious what type of telescope you were using.
I love all Topaz products. Simplify is great for various painterly effects. I like the BizSim presets for looks such as this watercolor treatment...
That is awesome! Were the bugs bad? Did you have to a lot of processing to get the final print, or just stitching?

Are there any who do this kind of imagery? The image is a creation I found on Facebook and thought it different. Should a contest be held. The image isn't mine.
I have done a little of that type of collage. Some people do like it. Many layers, with masks. Done at a Native American Powwow.

I have seen some beautiful time lapse videos from a setup like his with the camera moving along a track. It adds another dimension of movement to the clouds and stars moving by rapidly. I wish I had the time and patience to create videos like that.
Here is a video I recently completed featuring a group of about 300 American White Pelicans that return every year to a small key in Pine Island Sound in southwest Florida. It is located near Pine Island, and a little north of Sanibel Island. They share their home with cormorants, egrets, and herons. I used a GoPro camera, and a Phantom 3P drone. I hope you enjoy it.
