First, let me say I do understand the Exposure Triangle. But I'm having some trouble figuring out why I'm seeing such a difference in shutter speed between my Z6ii and Z50. I shoot in Aperture Priority Mode 95% of the time. I just got a new Z50 and shot some comparison images between the Z6ii and the Z50. Both cameras were set at f/8.0, ISO of 100, the exact same subject, on a cloudy day. I had the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens on the Z6 and the 16-50mm f/3.5 kit lens on the Z50.

Every single image from the Z6 had a slower shutter speed by about half than the Z50 and I can't figure out why they're so different. Ex: On the first image, the Z6ii shutter was 1/40; the Z50 was 1/80. The second image the Z6ii was at 1/60; the Z50 was 1/125. And it went on. While the images appear much the same in terms of the light, I'm concerned about the slower shutter speeds blurring movement in some images.

Any ideas?

Personally I have both the d5500 & the d7500. I have a couple of other Nikons but like the results best with 2 mentioned. If it is any help I use a Nikkor 18-300 on the d7500 and a Nikon 18-140 on the d5500 ( for its lighter weight when that is advantageous, such as street photography). Both good cameras; the d7500 gives you more to work with & has a larger sensor ( the same size sensor as the d500 which is considered by many as the king of Nikon dx cameras). I am pleased with the results of both combinations mentioned above.

I'm not a huge pro sports fan. Major league baseball, golf, and college basketball, and football have been my go-to sports entertainment. With the NFL I've always latched onto a player -- I followed San Fran when Montana was there, Indy and Denver when Peyton played on those teams, Minnesota with Tarkington, etc. When Peyton retired I didn't have someone to watch until Mahomes came along. I think he does so many unique things with the ball from underhand throws to shuffle passes and accurate 40-yard bullets. But I have been interested in the "home team" for the last two years since I live only 50 miles from Philly. I would like to see Mahomes have one of his magical games where he throws for 350 yards but ultimately loses to Philly! It's hard to want your cake and eat it too! With Philly playing, I might even get my wife to watch with me. My grandson will watch also but if it's like some other games I've watched with him, he'll spend more time on his phone than watching the game! Anyone else on here going to watch the game?
