The mass homicide rate in this country is far above any other developed country in the world.
That being the case, one must look for the answer to the question, "What is different about the United States?"
The answer is very clear. There are now more guns than people in this country and the laws, because they are made by the states are inconsistent at best and idiotic at worst.
Currently, you can conceal carry a firearm in Florida with no training, no background check, and no red flag laws.
We need to address the gun problem. Yes, I said gun problem. I know the wingers on this site will tell you it's a people problem and I agree. We need to change the law so that we keep guns away from people who should not have them.
This not only includes AR-type weapons, but handguns as well.
Or, we can just bury our children when they're slayed in classrooms, shopping malls, parks, and movie theaters.
