Dell's seem to last well. As far as bloatware, Dell business machines seem to have considerably less. Looks like a great pick Ron.

These numbers seem a little odd.

If you have only 100 gigabyte of HD space you have used more space than the HD supports. How large is your hard drive and/or how much free space do you have left?

How much of your hard drive space is used and how much space does it support. When was the last time you had a system purge? Do you know how many programs are running in the background? Have you scanned for malware or viruses lately?

No worries, the CEO of Richoh believes mirrorless cameras are a fad and we'll slip back into DSLR's. You all set DennyT :)

Win 10, which was installed without authorization, messed up so many things I made them put me back on Win 7. Not supported, but works darn well so far. I'm due for a new computer, I suppose Win 11 will be unavoidable.

More often than not, upgrading instead of clean installations are less reliable.

As Tom mentioned, the R5 would be a better choice for birding but if weight saving is the main goal, you won't find any substantial saving going to mirrorless unless you go micro four thirds. Both the Canon RF 85 1.2 & RF 50 1.2 weigh more than the EF counterpart. As to the going with the R6 I myself wouldn't go backwards in megapixel on a new purchase considering you have Mark IV.

I have to admit that I have never seen this littleone, I wonder if I can run two 600w units at the same time. Thank you for the suggestion.

It has dual sockets but it's not recommended using the modeling lights.

Back in 2019 , I received a Godox Transmitter and receiver. I was under the impression that was all you needed to shoot with in order to set up flashes in and around a picture that I was taking. Well 2020 was a bust for doing this type of Photography, so I just put it on my back burning list. I had no idea that I was so far wrong in my understanding of the process. I shoot with Nikon and I went out and picked up several Nikon flash units. Ok no big deal make my camera the commander and place the flashes - so they can read the command from my camera and they all flash as directed. But I go to set up the Godox system, but I did not know that I need a receiver for each flash - I thought it worked like a command from the receiver to all flash units. So here is my question, Do I buy receivers for every flash , or, sell my Nikon Flash units and go with Godox flash units that already talk to the transmitter that I have? What would be your thought on this matter or am I still 'off base on my thinking". Thank You all for your thoughts. Douglas Sparks

You have a couple of choices. Either buy a Nikon transceiver so it can communicate with your Nikon flashes or buy a Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver (for Nikon) for each flash you want to use.

You can either buy the Godox brand or Adorama's Flashpoint version. Flashpoint is just a rebrand of Godox. The advantage with Adorama is *in house service*.

Adorama https://www.adorama.com/fprrr2rn.html

Trix mentioned a third option with buying Godox flashes instead.

Ensure you're highlight priority is turned on. That way it will give you a warning when the highlights are too blown out.

This should support your camera and it's free.
