I never lock my car. Also I never leave anything in it of value. I feel if they want to get in they will break in. This way they can get in and get nothing and I wont have to deal with broken windows. - Dave

My car was broken into several years ago; they stole a fairly expensive-looking, installed radio and did a lot of damage to the dash, speedometer, seats, etc. I still lock my cars so the insurance will hold. I think locks will keep honest people honest and helps us collect on insurance.

I can't express enough bad words to describe my dislike for thieves.

Lol.

I once let Microsoft monitor my usage. I forget why, but I guess they were looking over my shoulder for some time. Ended up giving me a gift worth $100.00.

Anyway, I noticed that your error message said something about getting free software from (null). All attempts to search for that brought me to the same information I provided for you before. But there was a suggestion that going into Windows Defender(if you are using that) and forcing a manual update would correct the problem with windows update. It's worth a try.

I assume you have restored from a backup dated a while before the problem existed. Given that, my last resort would be to reload the operating system.

One of my engineer friends, who is VERY knowledgeable about computers, is a tester for Windows 10. He likens it to Win 8 “on steroids,” but with a start menu. He likes it a lot but he likes Win 8 too. After reading Kim’s article, and others, and since I found Win 8.1 to be very frustrating on my wife’s computer, I plan to delay implementation for a long time (if ever)!

Is anyone on the UHH really familiar with FaceBook? I mean really with the technical aspects of debugging it and ones page.

I've seen this happen before. Today I added some pictures and text on my Wall but what everyone else sees, including from my wife's account on a different PC in another room is how my page looked a week ago! People can't see what I tell them to take a look at. What is with the strange time delay and how do you control it?

FB is so slipshot and with undocumented features it is virtually impossible for an adult to understand. And the idiots running it keep making changes with out notifying anyone. OK, rant over.

It can be fun at times and an interesting way to find or "meet" people. But these weirdities keep it from being a place for serious activities. On the other hand, the UHH updates a page instantaneously. Help!

I'm not sure how it works, but I think it has something to do with the way that the other people signed into FB, and whether they checked the "KEEP ME SIGNED IN option." What to do? I have no clue.

I have been looking for a factory reset, I'll google it now. Or perhaps, read the manual. The dealer had over a 99% satisfaction rating. It was refurbed and came with a Nikon USA warranty. Looks brand new. I'm sure it's user error, just not sure how to fix it. I'm used to Sony's live preview so I know what the shot will look like before I take it. So, finding lots of black images has me stumped. I'll start over and see what I can figure out!

I would start by doing a rese3t

If it were my nickel, the Panasonic would be to much to resist. Lieca - none better, 1 inch sensor, etc. The weight reduction alone would tip the scale for me

Two weeks ago I purchased a nikond7200, and a nikon 28-300mmlens. My wife did not divorce me. Now when I take photos they look fine in the viewer but are kinda blurred. I thought after I purchased this outfit I was going to as good as my fellow Hogs. I guess it just goes to show it ain't the camera. Any advice would be kindly appreciated.

Check the autofocus calibration. Typically not a problem with Nikon lenses; can you take a good manual focus picture?

This complicated.
I took this with my Nikon in RAW. I edited it in lightroom exported it to my desktop hard drive in jpg sRGB. My Carbonite backup program automatically backed it up. Then on my iPad using a Carbonite app I accessed it at carbonite and opened it in my Photogene app and edited some more for fun to see what I could do. Not bad.

So after all that here it is.

Well done!
