I would not know how to connect to a DVD player even if I had one. I propose to return the monitor to the retailer who if they want can try to unlock the screen but thanks for the thought
Hi JR1..I am afraid this is the way nowadays
Hi JR1 I originally called Samsung on the phone and did eventually get a link to download the driver but as stated earlier this was a premium rate number and I am not overly excited paying through the nose for information which as far as I am concerned should be available for free.I replaced a Samsung CRT with this monitor and wished I had never bothered. To add to my woes I am not very computer literate.
Hi JR1 I have downloaded the manual, all 156 pages and can find no reference to unlocking the screen.Used quite a lot of ink in the process.I have tried Emailing Samsung but I get to a point where I have to enter the model and nothing happens. In desperation I posted the Hog for assistance. I have been back to aRGOS who will take it back under warranty so that may be the answer
Hi Mogul Thanks for your quick reply. The monitor is Model No S22C300H.I would add that the disc that came with it did not include this model but I was ,via the internet able to download the driver for it.
Can anyone out there help me. I have a 22" Samsung Monitor, nott very old, which I am unable to adjust the brightness. I have used my Spyder which is telling me to adjust the brightness, however, when I try the monitor shows the settings as locked.I cannot find a way to unlock the settings, there appears to be nothing in the manual to help do this.A call to Samsung is a premium rate number and I have tried contacting them by Email.
Hi SharpShooter.. How come your still alive
The question of inks and prices crop up regularly but I have found using inks by Jet Tec does OK for me,But I do not know in what other countries they are available. They are made apparently in Switzerland
Thanks all, I guess I will have to be more careful and hope the new lens with IM will help
At the moment I have a Sigma 18-200 lens(no stabilising feature) and will update it with Sigmas 18-250 (with stabiliser) or Tamron 18-270 lens. I have also been reviewing mirror lock up because some of my photos are out of focus. I would like to know if image stabilising feature has any effect on vibration caused by the mirror swinging up when a photograph is taken.I appreciate that using long end of lens in poor light will have limits and is partly why I am going for image stabilisation.Any help will be appreciated
Hi CRWIWY what an interesting place,is it much of a walk,I am due to make a trip down to Devon in the next couple of months, would like to see this but at 77 find it takes me a while getting about
Hi Al..not a very long exposure, these are inland lakes and it was a calm evening. The structures to the left are indeed wind turbines.I achieved as much depth of field as possible by clasping my camera to the top of a post and selecting a smallish aperture. So sun, wind and nuclear power and pylons carrying it to our homes. Thanks for your observations and I have visited your flikr page..like it
Oh now I know where you are coming from 1066
Hi 1066(and all that) when you refer to old pics I presume you have seen similar before, I did take some last year but returned last month and got the conditions I wanted
Photo was taken of pylons leading from Dungeness Nuclear Power in the UK
