When I looked at the title of the post, my initial reaction was someone's got old pics of the group (er.. I sort of recollect them LOL). Nice composition and appropriate title btw.
Hi 1066(and all that) when you refer to old pics I presume you have seen similar before, I did take some last year but returned last month and got the conditions I wanted

Very interesting concept and composition.By the looks of the water a long exposure on this photo.That works well here your depth of field is also perfect for this shot.The water leads you into the power line towers the power lines leads you into the fire (sun).Beyond that the towers and to the left they look like windmills.One of my favorites for composition very well done! :thumbup: :thumbup:
Hi Al..not a very long exposure, these are inland lakes and it was a calm evening. The structures to the left are indeed wind turbines.I achieved as much depth of field as possible by clasping my camera to the top of a post and selecting a smallish aperture.So sun,wind and nuclear power and pylons carrying it to our homes. Thanks for your observations and I have visited your flikr page..like it
