Good looking dog! St Albans?
That is National Geo good! Really nice work.
Did you lay down to shoot these? LOVE Iceland but have not made it to the black sand beaches yet. Thanks for taking us there and wonderful shots!
Kudos to your daughter for the rescue and you for such a wonderful picture. You have pulled our heart strings with the bitter sweet tale you give us. I am so very sorry about your son and so very happy for your wonderful new companion. Here's to years and years of micro hugs! Thanks to all who have shared in this thread.
Great shot! Amazing that you could catch what certainly looks like emotion. Very tender moment.
I agree with others, that fourth shot framed by the window is very, very well done. Thanks for posting these.
How far away were you in the first shot? Sharp focus on both.
Might have to frame both of those!
G16 sounds as if it would be a good choice. Thanks to all of you for your gracious input.
Whew! Those are rather convincing. The turtle and the owl really got my attention. Thanks for posting those wonderful images.
I would love to see that! Are you shooting this as primary or secondary?
Any one using this camera and can comment on it? I have a Sony A65 for my primary but think I would like to have a second camera for back up. We do a lot of traveling and think this might be convenient to use, but I am concerned about the quality of photos here.
Thanks, EdR. Had to be very memorable for you to recall such detail. Would be very odd if your R stood for Rader.
Great ideas, 'hoggers! I knew I could count on you. The A65 has a wonderful low light setting that will come in handy and the Tamron lens gets in very tight with good bokeh. Suggestions here are pointing me to grab a P&S with high resolution to use as a backup.
Thank you, morning star, for the great information. That is the kind of thing I was hoping to garner from the skill sets of the hog. It is very much appreciated.
