Yesterday evening, while walking on a levee just before sunset I heard a rustling in the trees behind me. This handsome fellow posed for a few moments before rushing to his nighttime roost.
Just being in the right place at the right time.

His eyes look like glass----because he is stuffed!! Just kidding. Hawk eyes are among the clearest of any bird I shoot. Here you can see why their vision is so sharp!
