Do the strap and the paperweight come refurbished so we can save some money? lol
Awesome! Did you use a lightning trigger?
Thank you to everyone who replied. You've all been a great help! Sometimes I get bogged down with wanting to read every book, watch every video, sign up for every class. And don't go out and actually shoot (I do, but not nearly enough). I may take one of the suggested courses/videos just because I need structure. Good advice to learn something new every day. I need to remind myself I don't need to know EVERYTHING before I go out and shoot! Just go do it! Thanks, again, to all. You've helped a lot!
The first one, my first thought was Alfred Hitchcock but that doesn't explain the boobs. And the second one looks like a genie on a flying carpet. I'm glad this isn't some sort of psychological test because what would that say about us?
I like the b&w barrel racing photo. I think it's the contrast between the rider looking so casual in the saddle and the obvious speed of the horse. Nice photos!
Absolutely awesome! I'd love to be able to do that someday.. but as of now, I'm light years away from being that talented.
Thank you, Hildegard!
Thanks, Dennis! In addition to fishing, she also wants boxing lessons. So maybe the shotgun won't be necessary? lol
My daughter's new hobby is fishing. She still needs to learn some patience, although 3 hours does show some determination!

Thank you for clarifying. I did forget to ask about that last time I posted. I'm unfamiliar with mirrorless cameras, so your explanation helped. Thanks!
I really appreciate everyone's suggestions. I learn a lot from all of you. I'm taking notes! Thanks, again!!
Thank you so much for all of your advice! Very helpful!!
Great article! We had the 17 year cicadas last summer. Very creepy.....thousands of them flying everywhere. You couldn't go outside without them flying into you. Not pleasant. And they were very loud! Yes, you can eat them. Some people made milkshakes out of them! EEEW. That is just wrong. My dogs ate a ton of them, which is beyond disgusting. I'm glad this happens once every 17 years around here. Although we do still have the normal ones in the summer. At least there's not too many and you don't see them much. Thanks for the article...interesting! Here's a photo I took of one of the 17 year ones last summer.
This guy was nice enough to sit still while I took a zillion photos. What could have made this shot better? I think the right side of his head (around his mouth) looks soft. Any suggestions would be helpful to me since I'm still learning! Thanks!
It does look like a cicada shell to me. And, yes, they do shed their leg skin, too. Gross. Even grosser, when I was a little kid (maybe 5 or 6?) I used to go around the yard and collect all the cicada shells and put them in my purse. Why??? I don't know. I certainly would not do that now! Yuck.
I agree...yellow fringed orchid. But I cheated....I have an app on my phone that identifies plants by taking a picture of it. I used your picture and it came up with yellow fringed orchid. The app is called PlantNet, in case you need plant ID in the future.
