What birds are these I do not know
I found them where the marshes grow
Pleased with shots the SX 50 yields
Here in the Sarasota Celery Fields.

I've never seen these birds before.
Thanks for your help!

It looks like black birds I hope I am right
They are really quite a sight
Some might call them a grackle too
I don't think I would want them in my stew.

Lightroom 5 can do it in the SLIDESHOW option. You choose the pictures, name the file, import the music and set the pace. If the music is too short for the 5 second rotation, it will start playing over again. You export it to a DVD and it is all done. I've done several for myself and for friends. Fun feature of lightroom.

I have never done a slide show in Light room so I was hoping to find a lab until I can get some one to help me with this. Not a computer person so to speak. Know enough about Light Room to do simply things. Will see where this goes. Again thanks.

VD, thanks for entertaining us with your imaginary story which to no one's surprise makes you the hero. I suspect we all imagine ourselves as heroes at times but most of us don't bore others by telling it in public as if it actually happened.

I'll have to put your name on my troll list because you did not comment on the topic but chose to be insulting instead.

Mr. Payne. I was a hero for about 15 min. as there was more important business like finding a date for the prom etcÂ….. So I guess you are no relation to Jack. He and I became good friends after the incident which goes to show you that wounds can be healed but you do have to stand up for your rights kinda like some country I know. I always wanted to be a troll. By the way, I have not seen any of your photography. I would love to see some of your work. I had a photo pro tell me once that you can tell some ones demeanor by looking at his pictures. Perhaps you have seen mine. Now lets see yours.

Hey Mr. Payne. I am wondering if perhaps you might be a relative to a Jack Payne who attending Burbank High School in San Antonio TX. Jack was a case. He had a speech impediment, red headed, ugly as sin and a bully. Every one in school made it a point to stay far away from him. He approached me one day on the steps of the school to practice his craft. I had about all of him I could stand so I got the first punch in and sent him rolling down the concrete steps to his utter surprise (and mine). If he is a relative of yours then I can understand your hate. Anyway, tell him hello for me. By the way, Mexico might not rocket you but I understand North Korea has a rocket that can reach the hill country so please don't start in on them. I love the beautiful hill country.

Massive crowds are turning out all over the world in support of Palestinians while protesting Israel's continuing genocide.

This is the result I got when Googling for crowds in support of Israel:

Whippany?

Hey Mr. Payne, If a country, say Mexico, sent rockets to your beautiful hill country, what would you do and how would you feel.

I would like to make a DVD of about 80 shots with a 5 second pause for viewing with music. Can anyone recommend a lab. Tried Costco here in my town and they said that they cannot do this. Thanks for your input. Shots are in lightroom ready to go.

Found this in the mulch. Weirdly cool.

Yes it is but I really like it. Something different is refreshing. I get a bit tired of my birds and mammals sometimes and I am not worth a hoot when it comes to flowers so to see something like this is a great change

You are entirely welcome. I have gotten pretty comfortable with the fz200, so if you have any other questions just send me a note.

BTW, has the video solved your telephoto extension question? I have one and it works very well.

I play viola and violin in 3 community orchestras in the area and in several chamber groups as well.

Viola- Have not had time to fool with the telephoto problem. Will tackle that Tuesday. l can see that you are very busy with your music. As I mention, I am basically trying to retire from playing, however our church has a nice little Orch. and they let me play with them when my instrument is needed. I would love to continue to visit you via e-mail if you so desire. If so send me a private message and I all send it to you. I don't think its a good idea to do it on the hedge.
