Really nice set of photos Kadee. I have been wanting to drive up from Naples, have heard so many good things about Circle B. Just wondering, is this a good time of the year for great pictures like you post? Appreciate any information. Great shot of the anhinga flipping the fish to swallow head first.

Circle B has a page on Facebook, where people post their photos. In recent days there has been an abundance of really nice postings, so I would say that this is a good time of the year to visit.

I agree with the Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland as one of the better spots. If you are a Facebook User, check out their page. There are daily photo postings by many of the regular visitors.

I'm digging the shot Louie. Nicely done with the sunlight beaming through the wings. If you don't mind, please upload the photo to the site, tick the store original box. I'd like to take a look at the details your 70-300mm was able to capture.

The photo as posted was pretty tightly cropped, so I don't know how much more detail you will find, but am postiing the orignal, uncropped photo for you to examine. I have checked the store original box. Thank you for looking. Any further comments will be appreciated. Lou

A couple of months ago, many of you were posting pictures that resembled a 3D pic. I did enjoy those prints, but I don't even remember what everyone called the process. I know there is a bunch of information on this site, but I don't know what I am looking for.
Thanks for your insight on this form of art. I have learned much, and hope to learn much more.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Chuck.

Or you may possibly be referring to Out of Bounds or OOB post processing providing the threeD effect.

This happens in other things in life also ! Always carry your camera and remember we should all take a little time out to 'smell the roses'

I agree...when you are in that situation, just think..."Stop and smell the roses". That may very well provide the incentive to do just that.

A very nice set. Orlando Wetlands is on my list of places, within a reasonable distance, to visit.

my orange trees dont do that, strange.maybe because its a big one?

This one has some sort of miniature oranges. I don't know specifically what kind of orange tree it is, and my neighbors have left for Canada for the summer, so I can't ask.

My neighbor has an orange tree in his back yard. One day I noticed that there three stages of ripening on it at the same time....blossom, green, and orange. Thought it an interesting composition. There was a bee on one of the other blossoms...that I didn't capture.

Robbie: Thanks for the welcome. Many years ago I lived in Cheltenham, in the Cotswolds. A very beautiful area. During my tour there, my wife and I traveled to both Scotland and Wales, in addition to our local drives. It was a very enjoyable three years.
I well review some of my recent closeup, and see if any might be worthwhile for this forum.
