The photo as posted was pretty tightly cropped, so I don't know how much more detail you will find, but am postiing the orignal, uncropped photo for you to examine. I have checked the store original box. Thank you for looking. Any further comments will be appreciated. Lou

Thanks for the upload Lou. I am mulling over telephoto lenses for and wanted to see the level of detail the 70-300 can resolve on a close up.
