Very nice! You have more green in your mountains than we do out west.
Very nice shots, all. Really glad you liked the mountains. Hope to see you back.
Thanks for the tip. Will be there next June and this may be a good side trip.
Very well put together. You have spiked my creative curiosity.
Back-up hard drives are relatively inexpensive. Personally I would rather carry around my photos and have instant access than to send them off to "never-never land" where who knows what may happen to them. Maybe the Russians will steal them.
Looking forward to seeing some of your paintings on this site. How about transposing some of your surf shots onto canvas? Nice series. It's always fun to keep up with your artistic adventures.
Nice shots, especially the first.
Wonderful shots Jim. I especially like #3. I love it when there are times (especially coming up with the fall foliage) I am on the side of a road with my camera on a tripod. People will inevitably stop to take pictures. Sometimes a brave soul will ask me what I am doing just standing there doing nothing. And then we get into a discussion about "waiting for the light." Then the sun comes out behind the clouds and lights up the mountains and it's time to pull the trigger. It's nice to have the patience to be able to, "wait for the light." You do it well, my friend.
Some shots are just better than others. This is one of them. Congrats!
Wonderful images, in every respect. Thank you.
The last two shots are "out of this world." Great capture
Heck, I grew up in Southern California. Never knew the Civil War made it out that far west. Perhaps I need to go back to high school and re-take California history. Nice job with these.
