S/he’s either:
1. Warming up
2. Drying off
3. Reflecting great credit upon her/himself. 🤣

Playboy magazine quality.
Thanks, I will gratefully accept that accolade!
I regularly/ occasionally (depends on commission concepts) shoot Models who tell me they have tried and failed to get into several of the “Top Magazines” (their quotes, not mine). I find it a source of quiet pride for those Models when we collaborate on a commission that earns them more than they would have been paid by those publishers.
For me, it’s never about the money but for the Models, compliments are nice… but cash pays the bills.

I really like this idea…do more.
Here’s another:

50’s cheesecake pin-ups
Wow, what was sexy has really changed over the years.
I think that’s true and I believe it seems to go in waves in the US? Whatever the wave motion is, there’s a perceptible difference between the average public viewpoint and the gap between Nudity and Lewdness… and there’s a bigger gap between what appears (pun fully intended) to be socially acceptable in Europe & Asia, when compared with social acceptance in the USA & Middle East.
An easy example is topless female advertising; common in Europe, almost unknown in the US, even when it involves US Stars:

What a great photo and beautiful young lady. I hope we see more of her.
Thanks! Here’s the first I published in this set:
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-783085-1.htmlI have several more “Nearlies from the Series”, so I will sort through them and maybe publish one or two more here.
The Series runs from 50’s Cheesecake through Art Nude to Erotica… those of course won’t be submitted to any Public Forum, they will be Private Collection only.
Natural Light was the only source used to create this image and also a key element for the inspiration.
Another potential image from the series, an implied nude portrait in keeping with that 50’s era.
I’m trying for sensitivity and playfulness here, rather than a more explicit, erotic art image. Hopefully no-one will be offended by this.
I sometimes find it fun to try to emulate those 1910’s to 1930’s Parisienne Portraits. A time when photographic equipment and techniques allowed ground-breaking photographers to completely change portrait photography, from a very static to a highly dynamic art form. This was also an era and place where female models from all the strata of society (from prostitutes to princesses) were enthusiastically being photographed in both demure and debauched detail.
In this portrait, I used natural & available light techniques, one beautiful, full-figured model, and three props. A 1910’s rococo revival wall mirror, a 1920’s hand mirror, and a modern era lipstick.
Evocative Portraits of one of my favourite ships.
I’ve been aboard a couple of times, including this transatlantic crossing.
Thanks All, for your very positive comments. I will pass them on to the beautiful model.
👍👍
Love those Duane Bryers art pieces, thanks! It gives me ideas for a revisit of some of those iconic images. 😉
Not necessarily so, IMHO.
For those of us who appreciate the joy of full figured feminine beauty, here’s an ancient old boudoir portrait. Originally captured way back in the naughty old days of April 2023, with the ancient technology available back then; Canon EOS R5 body, RF-EF adaptor, and EF 50mm f/1.2 L lens.
And, for those who don’t appreciate gazing upon the rounded raptures of the Rubinesque, please look away now.

I like it a lot, but being a picky detail guy, I would remove the cell phone holder from the right handlebar!
Ahah! You saw what I saw on my first glance at the bike! However, I just laughed and said “Let’s leave it on the handlebars, in case someone needs reassurance that this set WASN’T shot in the Seventies”.
😉
