Being a photography teacher, I try to keep up with new products. Here is a test of the Sony a7Cii and the Sony 20-70mm G F4. I always do a star shot because it quickly shows lens flaws edge to edge like coma . This was shot Dec 14 at 11:44 PM here in Central Oregon. ISO 3200, 10 sec f4. at 20mm. The second shot is ISO 3200, 20 sec, f4 at 20mm. On the second shot (center left and lower) is a capture of a Geminid's Meteor skipping through the atmosphere and also an airplane on the lower right. The Sony lens is very good to my eye. The Sony a7Cii does very well with noise up to about ISO 12,000 where it becomes distracting. These images have no PP. Enjoy I also tested the Sony a7CR. Noticeable noise creeps in much sooner at about ISO4000. Can I replace my a6500 and a9 with the a7Cii ...maybe... more testing to be done.
nice, one of my favorite places in the world
get use to using exposure compensation. It is so much easier on your new Z vs the 850
nice captures. be careful, we wouldn't want you to have a "Blast" among those things that go boom
keep up the good work. #1 is too busy. #2 is my favorite
Nice shots. The "flower Bed" is the end of humor I would have in my garden. That is one fancy bird house. The rent must be high.

Many thanks for viewing.
Tony ;)
Nice shot, I almost was expecting star shots or Carl Sagan to begin talking
My introduction to GPS was in the AirForce. As I transitioned to the civilian world I used a Garmin and a moving map from FlyQ on my iPad mini. My Subaru has GPS built in but has not been updated in 9 years. My Garmin for my RV and my iPad get updated all the time. I'll use Apple Maps on my phone for short trips. Out here in Central Oregon cel phone service can be rather iffy. Real GPS (Garmin and Subaru) are always there leading the way. have friends that live back east and the only use the phone directions. The say that the phone is updated all the time and really wrong. I asked them what happens when you go through a tunnel, get off the major highways, or even in underground parking garages. I'f I need to get someplace. I know real GPS will get me there so I stick with it. ..Plan "B" I still carry printed maps.
good stuff, It too cloudy out here in Oregon.
me too, and only one phone in the house
