The B&W gives these a real sci-fi feel. Love storms and cloud formations and great capture on the lightening.
Love the textures on the rope, wood and brick road. All are excellent
As an Illinois Boy and with farms mid-state, loved the series and agree with others, Farmer's Gold is Excellent/Unique perspective
Thanks SpyderJan. The shot was a 13 sec. exposure (hence the light trails w/o cars). The people remaining stationary, simply luck or maybe they were "anesthetized" as-it-were..... Public square and all.
Just saw this challenge topic so hope I'm not too late to post a few shots from a recent trip to Canada. Hopefully these come through and are still relevant to the topic.
Thanks for all your comments. The sun was perfect for several rainbow shots which added to the photo ops,
Thanks for the comments and yep, that's Casa Loma. Beautiful place and does remind me of Hill House in the movie, thus the underexposed B&W. My all time favorite horror/ghost movie.
Couldn't resist the reference to Shirley Jackson's classic novel (and 1963 horror film). So, some shots of the House on the Hill in B&W. Canon 60D, Tamaron 10 - 24 lens.
Some shots from a recent trip to Ontario. Tried to refine some of my night shots in Toronto as well as some (hopefully interesting) perspectives of Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls
Mighty clear shot (good job), so best I'd figure is the aircraft had some vector changes as it passed by. Were you fairly close to an airport where ATC could have beendirecting them for course changes?
Gorgeous shot. Great detail with stars and lake. Viewing download is a must!
Viewed it in southern IL near Carbondale. Had no problems with an inexpensive solar filter purchased through B&H and no filter during totality. It was an otherworldly event
