The first picture is Babcock state forest, and the secound I believe is at Glades springs. The Gris mill in the first photo is a favorite of photographers. I love seeing photographs from WV. I am still amazed how the sights I see all the time that others see too. Being born and living here all my life I take the area for granted. Until someone comes along and reminds me just how beautiful of a place I live. If you are ever back in the area again and need a some more areas to shoot let me know. I have been up ever hill, mountain, and hollow(valley) around here. Thanks for reminding me of the great place I live.

Work with Topaz until I got this result. Am not sure if I like it but she did. Any way what do you think? She was wanting a hdr and animation look.

If you can not control your child then don't take them to a restaurant and ruin everyone else's dinner. When I raised my children if they acted up I removed them from the table and had the common courtesy to let others enjoy theirs. To let your child ruin others dinners is just rude.

I have the EOS M. I love mine it works great with all my other ef lens. The Eos M3 has to be much better. As soon as I can I will be buying one. For me this is the way to go much easier to carry and shoot. The only down fall is the lag between the actual picture being taken after you push the shutter button. But I don't have a problem with that.but it might bother some.

I worked in a waste water treatment plant when I was young. It was crappy job. This was before the modern treatment plants. I worked around about 20 guys. It seemed no one was ever sick even during flu season. I often wonder if our daily exposure to ever disease and sickness maybe built up our immune system. I even watched the older guys at the time wash and eat the tomatoes that grew out of the dried sludge piles. Maybe exposure is the best deterrent to illness.

I am proud of him. They told me that the German Shepard is a natural hearder and that is what I expect he did because he put him back in the shed and kept him there. Of course the courts let him go, he told them he thought I was selling the bike and was just looking at it. And warned me about having a vicious dog.

My dogs job is to keep the bad guys away. We were robbed twice before we bought him. A guy was stealing my motorcycle and the dog got him. The thieve shut himself up in my shed until the police arrived, the dog would not let him out.

Parkersburg is a great place. I have a friend that runs gun shows there in Lubeck, Mineral wells and Ripley. Also my mean sister in law lives there in Parkersburg. It is great seeing a another West Virginian on here.

I have never seen this before. Answered it and it was a robo call selling home security systems. Wonder how the caller ID knew it was a scam.

I purchased the 60 D a few years ago. My cameras are tools and they go thru it. The Rebel series are great cameras but they are not as tuff as the 60D. My 60D was dropped into a creek while doing a bridal shot. It was only in the water for a second. I dried it off took the battery out and let it dry for a few days it came back up and has been working ever since. I have had three Rebels great cameras I broke two. But like I said I am very rough on cameras. (I would never buy a camera from me) my camera arsenal now is the 60d, 50d, 5d, and the eosm. I am selling the 50d and the eosm, but if you see them on eBay don't buy because they have been thru it. I have recently retired and just don't need but two.

I was in a situation close to your post. I sold a photo in a gallery that the person in the background said I did not have her permission to photograph. She was not the main subject. The conclusion was a person has no expectation of privacy while in public. The reason for the up roar was she was with someone she should not had been with in a place she shouldn't had been at. ( I was told a friend of the husband bought the picture) like I said at the time this could only happen to me. That was when it hit me every body is out to sue anybody over anything. (This happened in 1998 but I don't think the law has changed)

I have the EOS M fantastic camera. I like the little guy but have been thinking about selling it. I went in another direction using drones and FPV cameras. I bought the EOS M as a backup for my D5 but sold the D5 last year. The EOS M does great videos also. I never used the SL1 so I can not give an opinion on it but I would recommend the EOS M.

He was my great grandfathers first cousin. My great grandfather would only call him a jail bird instead of talking about his accomplishments. I have always admired his works with my favorite being the Gift of the magi.
