You can take my case with all of the bodies and lenses you might need. The best part is that I come with them to carry all of them for no charge.
I must believe, although sometimes difficult, that this country will awaken in time to erase this unamerican travesty in 2020.
An external flash is a neccesity. It should be a Nikon. A 45 degree bounce with the white card pulled out will eliminate the pictures looking like they were shot in a cave. Shutter speed 1/60 lens f8 & everyone will be in focus OR AUTO & focus on the eyes. ISO 400 should work. The key is to use the external flash. More powerful the better. Take plenty of extra camera & flash batteries. Check the screen after each shot to be sure nothing has accidentally reset. Good luck & don't panic.
I slip my camera inside my pants. When I'm ready to shoot I stick the lens through my fly. This eliminates camera movement and I get some great expressions.
60,000 shot on D200. The older sensor is great for portraits to 16x20. It's CCD and to my eye is less crisp (but sharp) than CMOS & therefor more flattering.
Wear a raincoat. If you don't have one I'm sure the groom does.
I've shot more than 1000 weddings. A wrap around balcony makes us all look like Monte Zucker!
Shutter count? I have a 5100 and the shutter stopped working at 16,000 exposures. Thanks.
Can you say. $40,000 Leica?
I belong to the Philadelphia Photographic Society (1863), the first in the US. I thoroughly enjoy all of the activities menioned above but most the non competitive atmostphere. A welcome change after 40+ years as an international wedding photographer. It's all about the craft and the enjoyment, not the politics of any group. Just relax and have fun. Your craft will refine bty osmosis and exposure (no pun intendid).
Take up a more challeging hobby. You have mastered this one!
66000exposers, 600 weddings & still perfect. What else can you ask for?
thanks to all - I'll try your suggestions.
Sensor size & shutter count?
Any idea of shutter count & sensor size? Thanks
