Does it have a cataloging feature? That is the only reason I am waiting to use it.

I like all of these, but wonder what would happen if you increased the Saturation level. The over exposure on the first two is nice and I don’t know if you can deepen Saturation without lessening the exposure effect, but to my washedout eyes it may help to increase visual pleasure. The last IMHO, the best, yet if you could brighten the deep reds...?

You certainly push a button but nothing worth looking comes out. Black hole, grammar.....etc. That all? Your work is utterly mediocre. That is not an insult but a REALITY. It's so bad, and your attitude so incredibly absurd that it don't merit any critique. In fact you don't want critiques at all. You, like a lot here, seek only praise. Get a dose of reality.....buddy.

To all the hypocrites regarding the OP image.....why don't you I offer to buy it? It's so unique, so good....where are the offers? There is none because you know its a BAD, BAD image. Is honesty an unknown concept here? Why keep contributing to this circus?

Take your issues some other place. I did not start this thread for you to spew your negativity. Please head my warning. This is your second and final one. I do not want to block you from my post, but I will not tolerate your hate.

Buddy....the only thing ordinary thing here is your "work". Ive seen it. Its NOT anything even close to been called art. Its mediocre and bad. Technique can be learned by almost anyone? Well why you haven't? You are in desperate need for a reality check. Of course in this place you will continue to expand your delusion. Honesty is a rare concept here. So, yes your "work" and your misplaced "artist" ego deserves a few LOLs. You think that a bad....and a very bad image of a piece of gras on the ground is art? Man...oh man.
Buddy....the only thing ordinary thing here is you... (show quote)

Don't make personal attacks on my postings. If you have an issue with some, either keep it to yourself, or start your own threads.

Just finished going through several weeks of your photos and I really appreciate your commitment to the project. I imagine your journaling will be really valuable down the road. I especially like your lighting experiments. One of my good photographer friends did this and he said he learned so much from his “planned” shots versus those that he happened upon. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for having a look. I have been watching a youth video series on lighting and am trying to get the same results. I think I have been successful so far. But I gotta tell you I am jealous of the equipment used. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GJ4P1T7OHI

The big brown truck came by the other day and left me a new toy: PIXMA Pro-100. Yeah baby! I can see this printer will be most of what I need for the foreseeable future. I used some of the supplied paper, Canon's Luster 13x19...so much better than the Epson all in one!. I'll be printing occasionally with this printer, but I can see that I'll be going through paper, and ink too. What kind of wisdom does anyone out there have about paper available?

I like the Canon Luster paper included, but it is $50.00 +or-, for 50 sheets, while RedRiver has the same for $34.95. I am going to do a little research at DPreview, but I like talk with those who use it too.

Thank you, I’ll probably take it to the Canon repair center and drop it off personally. I’m very leary of the USPS. They have lost and or sent my packages to the other states half way across the US.

Can't blame you. At least now you have an idea of cost.

I had the same problem with an old 40D and tried to bend it back. I had no luck though. My local shop charged me $150 to fix(this was a few years ago). They have a web site: http://www.crystalcamera.com Go on over and maybe they cam help you out.

I am a Canon user, so take it for that. My experience with the Canon version of that lens was not so good on my FF cameras. I think it is made for crop sensor, thus creating hazy corners on a FF 5D and 6D.

Having said that, when I used the lens on various Crop Sensors, 40D, 7D and 70D, I was very impressed with it. The only reason I upgraded to the Canon 100 Macro was because I had a job which demanded That I use Full Frame cameras.

Hope this helps!

Are you interested in doing a little hiking, (backpacking really) Baxter State Park also known as the end of the Application Train, or Mount Katahdin is an incredible photo op.
