Nikon 28-300 FX.
The 28-300 Nikon would be on my D750.
I will be traveling thru Greece and Italy in late September
and am considering getting the Nikon 28-300 f3.5-5.6 lens
for all around general photo use.
I have 24-70 f2.8 Sigma & 70-200 f2.8 Tamron and a fisheye
as well as a 150-500 Sigma.
Too much stuff to carry around and also board ships and planes.
Looking for confirmation that the 28-300 is a good choice.
Pros & Cons please. (I already know about low light).
We live in an ever changing technological world.

I recently bought a gadget to connect the smart card
from my Nikon D750 to my iPad.
Can anyone tell me if I need a special app to see the photos
and or upload them into the iPhoto ??
Nothing seems to happen when I plug it in and I don't see anything
pop up??
I hate to see or hear of any cruelty to animals.
But my question is, what do we say to a farmer following his
horse pulling a plow? Is that cruel. What about a horse drawn sleigh
in a Christmas scene. Is the use of any animal for any type
of work considered cruel.
What about horse jumping, horse racing, Lipizaner Stallions and on and on.
Is it okay to poison and kill a rat. (Squirrels without the cute tails).
What's right and whats wrong and who decides.

Can you tell us what you used for post processing ?
Anyone know of a company that will insure your
photo equipment at home as well as when traveling
in Europe.
I have homeowners insurance but they only cover
here in the USA if I add the coverage.
When I do a photo shoot I go home and go to my computer and create a new folder in my pictures and name it and add a date. Something like "Newport 1/28/16" then I load those into that folder. I go directly to the external hard drive and copy to a second external drive. The name tells me what it was and the date. I've been doing this every time I have a meaningful day shooting. I have years of this, hope it helps. If I'm using Lightroom I still do this first, but it can be done also by going thru Lightroom first but you'd have to create your folders first.
I recently read that when you are about to write a political rant on line you should put a lot of thought, check your facts, watch your spelling and grammar and when you have everything just the way you want it look for the delete key and hold it down. Keep your friends that way.

I work for a company that franchises in the USA and Canada
and I have been told by those in Canada that any items that we
require franchisees to have that can only be purchased from the USA
get hit with the 15% tax. This is now. Perhaps one of us is misinformed
so I will place that back in my arse (as you have eloquently put it) and
I will leave it at that and drop out of the conversation.
