I respect everyones opinion... Thanks.
You all are missing the #1 reason for every fopaugh listed. Money! $$$$! Coinage! Jack! These companies are in it for the money. and like every other for profit company in the world, they do whats cheapest often cutting corners in the process. If they can make an extra buck by turning up the thermostat in the freezers 10 degrees they will. Never mind food borne illnesses, etc. Regardless of what they say, they are in it for profit and look out if you get in their way. Shaving inches off of seat and leg room so the airline can jam in another PAYING passenger. The fact that it puts entire groups of passengers in sardine-hell is relegated to the bottom of the importance-list.
I could go on forever with examples but with a micro-units amount of research you can see-find all the examples you can read. Let the buyer beware.
I have an older Celestron 5 with the navigation thing on top and a some eyepieces. I'm wondering if it is worth putting it up for sale and what I could expect to get for it. I've been reading the posts on the Astronomical Photography Forum and have come to the conclusion that It's much too expensive to get into. I seem to be leaning the other way, like a Pluto shutter kit or something like that.
Right now I'm looking for ideas, opinions, prices, etc. from Hedgehog members.
Thanks in advance for responding.

I will volunteer to be 'Central Co-oordinator' for this poor soul. You can send me your donation and I will collect the money and when we have all donated the correct amount, I'll send it to them. We all recognize the importance of having a US representative in this endeavor. Cash only please.
I don't have any papers... All I have is a pipe.
Huh! That's exactly what happened when I tried to wash my dirty underwear! I'm sleeping on the couch this month.
All good advice... Thank you. I am doing all of this now and things seem to be looking up. I have a Spyder 4 calibrator and I'm working on the P.S. settings one by one.
Thanks again.
Thank you all for the advice... I re-calibrated my monitor and went thru every setting in photoshop with a fine tooth comb, cleaned the printer heads and things seem to improve. I still have to tweak the color a little bit but the results are improving.

I need to know if anyone has their photoshop settings set to where they give the same color as on the monitor. (Calibrated)
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
