G'morning, Sorry to inform you that it never goes away. I quit in 1979 and last year I drove into the city to see a large working fire (I'm a retired Firefighter). While there all of the excitement, smells and noise kinda put me back into the "Firefighting mode". The man standing next to me light up and instantly I forgot about the fire and focused on his cigarette. I wanted not a cigarette. I wanted that cigarette! It got so bad that I had to walk away. I've never had a cigarette since I quit, but that incident scared me.
Although polar ice is definitely going away, scientists are puzzled by the increase this summer. Still, the trend is toward negative growth. Nothing controversial about that.
Three weeks ago I went in for a mammogram and tomorrow I have surgery. I only went in for the mammogram because several friends have recently had positive results and I just thought well its been three years so I might as well get it done. I would never have felt the lump as it was very deep. It is invasive so I will have a lumpectomy and hope they get it all along with lymph node biopsyThis will be followed with 6 weeks, 5 days a week radiation..(I will be glowing by the time I'm through). So all you gals go get it done. You guys go and get your prostate checked, don't be wimps. I have lots of horseback riding to do and a whole lot of pictures to take.

I gotta go with the majority on this one. Sports and media will never qualify as heros. The last video I have of sixteen of my friends is them recieving Last Rights from Father Mychal as they ascend the steps of tower On on 9/11/2001. To ALL who serve, no matter where or how, you have my undying admiration. You are all heros. "The man who signs up for a dangerous job is already a hero. Everything else that happens is just part of the job." Paraphrased from Chief Coaker, The first Chief of the NYFD.
