At my church I do a lot of picture taking and video. Two or three years ago I was asked by the church office to video the memorial of one of our members who had passed away-the reason for the video is that some of the family members lived out of state and could not attend.
I have taped several funerals of friends and family, what I focus on is the message from the service and the memory of the person. My camera
is always pointed to the altar or aimed at the person that is speaking,I try not to record someone that is emotional.
The same goes for a church service,if someone is very emotional and "shouting" (ask a Baptist),I try not to record.
If I do take pictures of the casket,it is a long shot taken from the other side of the room as people pass to view.
Funerals and Weddings are a great place to take photographs, before or after, because these are the times that people who normally do not see each other and they can be together.
With the footage from the service I also get photos from the family and make a video slideshow.

Hi, I own two Canon Rebel cameras ,a TSi and a T2i and I am thinking about upgrading to a "professional" model. I am looking at the D60,I have just started looking but the only difference that I could see from the T2i that I have and the D60 is the articulated viewing screen and a higher price. I would welcome all comments
that you could give on the comparisons that you could give.

Thanks nlvhal

I am a Mac user. When I send to multiple people I go to the Address Book select the name I want to send to,hit "to" on the left and go to the next name I want to select. When I have selected all the names I wanted I hit the Red button under the Apple symbol, you will then see all the names that you had selected. Hit "Send" to send. Hope this works for you. nlvhal

Reading my e-mail this morning I saw an ad for a Calumet Speedlight Power Block 900 ,it is a battery system that powers most brand name flash units ,it is on sale for $200.00 - I have a Metz 58 AF-1 flash unit -the Metz battery system is 400 and sixty dollars. I am a Canon user (XSi and T2i). Would any one in my similar situation try this battery ? You can see the battery at calumetphoto.com Thanks
