Thanks everybody. Gonna have to just sit down and go thru my photos, take some time 'off' from shooting to handle the housekeeping so to speak. :)

Guess I'm a pack rat. My kids call me boarder line hoarder but when it comes to all the photos--RAW, jpeg, what to keep vs delete. I've been having major issues with my computer. Have stored many on a flash drive and deleted unused stuff off my computer but it still says my disk is low on space. Suggestions???

Just saw this post today and at the time it was on page 10. I loaded up 3 and when I came back to ck. on them they were no where to be found and now you are on pg. 15. SOO, gonna try it again. My 3cents worth. :D

you just can't resist a little color fun on a 'blue moon'

This was actually taken the morning of the 31. Guess this is a 'moon set'

my thanks to all who have responded. I've read each. I did use my 70-300m which is a tamron with vr. I don't know what the OS is, sorry. The photos were fair but would have like them to have been sharper. To really see the deer I had to enlarge them. I may just be jumping the gun so to speak.

OS (Optical Stabilization) is the Sigma's designation: same as Nikon's VR (Vibration Reduction) and other's IS (Image Stabilization)...and probably others (I think Pentax has yet another name).

ahhh, thanks mtnman. :D

To all you wildlife photogs, I've have a Nikon d90 with a 70-300mm lens as well as the kit lens which is an 18-105. Currently in Canada an have seen some wonderful bucks and looking forward to seeing other wildlife. What is a good lens for that type photography.??

:) Thanks

Ebay is my friend. I just had four more hats delivered today. Much faster, less expensive, and easier than making them myself.

thanks Julieb. I'll just have to break down and ck. it out. I've rarely gone to Ebay.

WOW, love them. I too love themed photo shoots. Would have no idea how to go about setting something like this up. Would love to know the particulars.
