Before I bought my first digital I went and actually held a Nikon and a Canon (they were the major players as far as I was concerned) in my hand, felt where all of the buttons and controls were and how they matched up to my hand. I would bring it up to my eye and see how it fit me, heck I walked around carrying it and playing around with it for at least 20-25 minutes. I eventually settled on Canon and have been extremely happy ever since. I don't think you would go wrong with either brand. Good luck!

What bothers me with eBay is 3 months from now someone can get tired of the camera and just say it’s not working right and you loose your money instantly or it may be longer than 3 months. They change every day lol. Only good thing about CL is if you get a buyer that pays it’s a done deal. Idk what I’m going to do, just gathering ideals lol

"Knock on wood", I have not had that happen to me yet but I understand. Where I live here in the Florida panhandle we have local "For Sale" groups on Facebook. They may have something like that where you live.

BosStrap when hiking and I use a binocular strap (the harness type) when riding my trike (bicycle), it lets the camera rest on my body and not swing around like a regular camera strap and still lets me raise the camera to my eye.

The only problem with eBay is if you need the money right away. When I first started selling stuff on there I would have to wait sometimes 2 weeks for the money to be approved in PayPal. Don't forget, eBay takes 10% and PayPal another 3% so figure that into the price, and then there is shipping either you pay or the buyer pays. Unless you are shipping for free, be sure to weigh and measure the package correctly for them to figure an accurate shipping charge. All of that said, I wouldn't shy away from eBay if I wanted to sell something. Craigslist... IMHO that is a real PITA with all of the scam attempts. Good luck!

I've been lurking on here and reading for quite a bit and finally registered. I just wanted to shout out a thank you for all that I've learned while doing so. Hopefully I can add to the discussions and help someone else out like y'all have helped me.

Without a doubt and in my humble opinion, Breakthrough Photography is the best and most color neutral Polarizer out there. They are expensive but then again as someone mentioned, it is an extension of your lens. I ordered mine directly from them and I got it in two days from the west coast to Florida. Great customer service along with a 25 year warranty.

I do a lot of hiking and I love my BosStrap. It has a great attachment system that does not use the tripod mounting screw.
