No worries , I am good. The park is a wonderful place.
I kept putting off getting up there this year, and by the time I did the aspens were about gone.
I have a lifetime pass and its 35 miles from the house.
I did go over to Granby the lake it is beautiful.
There are so many places to see.
Rocky Mountain National park in Estse Park.
Trail Ridge Road and the Peak to Peak Hiway's are great drives.
In Golden there is the Coors Brewery, on top of Lookout Mountain is Buffalo Bills Grave and museum.
There is a 2 herds of Buffalo you can get shots of, one is off Interstate 70, I can't remember the exit. But you can find it on google.
The other is at the Rocky Mountain Arsenel. There deer everywhere, and I have seen Bald eagles there also.
Pikes peak, the Garden of the gods and the Chapel at the AirForce Academy in Colorado Springs, are worth going to.
The Royal Gorge Bridge is the highest bridge in America. it was the highest in the world until 2001, somewhere in China holds that record now.
This is all in a 200 mile radius.
There is so much more, but these are the biggies on the eastern slope.

Look I am not trying to bash you. I am trying to give some advice. I did the very same thing at first, I found that sometimes less is more.

I have lived in most of my life. And although you have taken some great shots. Aspen is a cool place, looks like you made the park as well. Your saturation is way heavy. I know you want those colors to pop, but I have never ever seen that color of blue sky. Not even on acid in the 60's.

I am a fan of color, I see in color.
The trees in on the right are blobs is the b&w shot.
There is definition in trees in the color shot.
So for me the color shot without a doubt.

I an not a Sony fan. Never will be.
It seems to me, they build with planned obsolescence in mind.
They make good tv's. But how many dead play stations are there. My kids went through 3.
About the only thing Sony electronics do not make is vibrators, and who knows they might
Canon, Nikon are mainly focused on cameras and lenses, although Canon produces printers.
I have a 2004 Canon 1Ds that still works perfectly. I honestly do not think any Sony camera will last that long.

How strange, my little brother plays bass also. He playing a Gibson SG
I sold everything, still have a conga drum, but it is just gathering dust.
I do wish I had kept my Blue Sparkle Ludwigs, I had in High School
I have thought about getting a set of electronic drums. Put on my cans and jam along.
But I am retired and where do I want my fun chips [spare cash] to go lenses? Drums?

I recorded a couple albums, sold 3 or 4 copies [thanks mom and dad]
I stopped touring after almost ODing somewhere in Ohio.
Had a couple kids and after that, did some local session work.
Did the bar thing. Hung it up after I blew out my back
In Colorado it's getting harder and hader to find a room to play.
Owners are getting cheaper.
At 65, the very thought of lugging my kit around for a few bucks doesn't spin my wheels anymore.
It was fun though wasn't it?

Well I did play drums in bunch Blues bands.
In fact it's how I blew out my back.
I went to hit my floor tom and that was it.
I can still play but, I can't do 3 sets anymore.
Oh well, I had fun while it lasted.
Serious fun.

Thanks to one and all for your replies.
All my stuff is in good shape, the Tamron's are like new.
I think I will take some advice and give U.H. a shot.
I do have a pay pal account. I have always bought with it. Not quite sure how it works to sell stuff.
Whatever doesn't sell here, I will use MPB.
For some reason even unknown to me, I need them, gotta have em, life will be so much cooler with them. A 100-400 mm L and a 180 mm L macro lens.
But I have to sell this stuff first. I could buy now, and then, everything piece of gear I have will be for sale, after my wife kills me graveyard dead.

It' winter here in Colorado.
I was looking for things to shoot inside.
Sooooo.
I bought a Miops slash kit and the Miops thingie that shoots, lighting, takes shots when it hears sounds when something breaks a laser beam.
It's kinda like a swiss army knife, it does like 6 things, it's kinda expenisve, but it's fun.
If fun sounds like filling up a water balloon, I drop in some food coloring in the balloon, waiting till it's dark so it's pitch black in the bathroom and then dropping the balloons into the tub and getting a pictures when it breaks. The Miops is for you.
I also bought a 10 gallon fish tank [no hood] and a stand at Walmart for around 30 bucks.
I filled half way up and drop stuff in it. Apples, oranges, tennis balls, or any thing else you can think of. I would advise not using a bowling ball
My set up is a tripod and a wireless shutter control. Start by, taking shots continiouly and drop waterever into the tank.
It works, it's cool and it gives you somethine to do.

I got a 1ds, a 300mm L and a couple Tamron G2's the 45mm and the 90mm macro I am trying to sell.
I would rather have the 100-400 L and a 180 L macro.
I thought I would use the 45mm more than I do.
It's a great lens. It's fast at f/1.8. It's sharp and Tamrons Vibration Control [VC] is outstaning.
It not that expensive, I would recommend this lens to anyone.
Shoot I have almost talked myself out of selling it.
