Kind Sir, as we are very far north, the horizon in the picture reveals the curvature of the earth, and is therefor level.

When I accidently answer a "scam" call and there is a human spouting their glib line, at the first opportunity I say, "Does your mother know you are doing this dishonest work? Cheating people." Then hang up.

My TV being used as a monitor was fading and on a recent walk-about in Costco I was attracted to this TV: LG C1 48 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (48.2'' Diag). The clarity and contrast was WOW and yes it is 48" big. No more zooming. Cost $900.00. Each pixel is self-lit for the pixel peepers in this audience.

Great Shot - love the "bounce."
What printer profile rendering intent was used for this print? Relative, Perceptual, Absolute?

Hi Cam

What profile would I use for the Epson paper? A Canon profile? That is the question.

Currently my photo printer is the Canon Pro-100. I select the Canon paper type I will print on (luster/high gloss) whose specifications are contained in the ICC profile (that becomes an ICM profile on Windows) for the output color?

I have many sheets of Epson printer paper that I would like to use.

My question for the Hedgehog brain trust: Do I select the Canon ICM that closely matches the Epson paper type, i.e. Premium Glossy, Matt, etc. OR is there a benefit to add the Epson paper profiles to my selection dialog for the Canon Pro-100? Is that even possible?

Right, but then I am still zooming instead of just looking. Typically I only have one or two items loaded.

Currently my desktop computer monitor is a 40” Samsung TV HD connecting to my NVIDIA video card. The computer is my build using full retail components. Can you help with my leadership problem?

The Samsung is not bright enough for my >70 eyesight and I have been anxious to spend some money for a replacement with 4K+, IPA, Full sync, etc. for my modest editing of. NEF from my D850 amateur photos.

When I am granted time from chores, playing video games once again has an appeal. I have learned that Samsung units are not compatible with NVIDIA video cards that may be demonstrated in Helicon Focus with a warning that the video drivers are not compatible.

My hang-up is that I have locked on to 40” as the minimum size. But 50” is a bit too big. And yes I could move a BenQ 32” closer to my nose. It has all the specs but the 32” come loaded with super sound systems that are not needed – I got one – and they are very expensive. And, too small requiring many zooms to edit.

Any ideas?
