Dropbox sounds like a good idea. I'd open a new Dropbox account with a unique name so you don't get mixed up with your personal stuff.

Might be easier to agree on a design and everyone get a neck tattoo

The next step in your progression as a photographer is learning about post processing. How much PP you eventually use will be your decision as you move forward. I recommend Lightroom because it has all the tools you'll probably need and also helps you manage you photo collection as you shoot more. The Scott Kelby books on Lightroom will give you a solid foundation on the benefits of LR and how to take measured steps as you learn more about all aspects of photography.

I'm not defending "grouchy" answers, but in my case, when I returned to photography after about a 30 year lapse, I read a LOT of sites, read 4 or 5 books to get me back up to date on current thinking and watched a number of videos on exposure, composition, etc, before I started asking questions.

I made an investment in my time so I would not ask someone else what might be a very basic question.

Too often there are questions here such as "why should I shoot raw?'.....or "how does Lightroom work?".........

These kind of open ended questions cannot be answered in a short statement or a few sentences, but I see them over and over. I've read at least 2 books on each of these subjects. Am I supposed to spend 20 minutes responding to this broad of a question? A few people here are VERY generous with their time and will try to answer........some will give a meaningful link.

If I can give a quick answer or give a suggested link, I will, but the questioner should'd be disappointed in a short response however terse it may sound.

Shooting raw would give you more room for post processing

It's not a simple answer.
I recommend the many online tutorials out there........most are free

My wife is a regular customer of a nice hair salon in Ferndale. They have one small wall plus the restrooms where a local artist hang framed art. One time last year, my wife actually paid $250 for an 8X12 piece of graphic art that was hanging in the ladies room. So there is a market in Ferndale for nicely priced photos or art.
.......don't under-price your stuff.

I also agree that they should be able to buy on the spot and you have a business card and flyer on the back of each.

And I also think you should insist the owner take a fair % of each sale.

I am a long time Lightroom (LR 5.7) user and am preparing to install the monthly CC subscription. I have to upgrade my laptop to 64bit prior to installing, so that's my delay.

Even now, I understand that I don't "own" the license for Lightroom 5.7, even though I have the DVD.

I appreciate Gene51's advice on this subject.

not trying to argue with you - but when you first started did you get top $$? I've done some head shots & portraits and neither of them took 3 hours to do or 3 hours to edit. If you're spending 3 hours to shoot & then another 3 hours to edit a portrait or head shot then you ain't a very good shooter!!

I'm sure our OP didn't consider what a questionable (stupid) comment he was about to make before he pushed the POST key...

Why not just get Capture One Pro? It's faster too.

Was this a constructive comment in the midst of the OPs concerns?
Just wondering...

In my mind, the only images that should not be modified would be professional journalistic and/or police photos.

I'll process my images the way that gives me the result I am aiming for.

I don't see where the "debate" is on this topic.

There are forums out there for mirrorless cameras. I have Fuji mirrorless cameras, but I'm sure Olympus has forums where they talk about mirrorless all day long........

As camerapapi says .....just use it

This forum has a wide range of photographers and equipment. I find more specific information on the forums focused on the specific line of cameras I use.

UHH has lots of folks with varied experience with Lightroom. For real technical questions about Lightroom, I suggest going to the Lightroom Forum.......there are many gurus there that respond pretty quickly to a problem such as yours.
