I am looking for a plugin for Lightroom that will take out powerlines, poles and other such objects I located one called Wireworm that fills the bill, but it appears to only be for PS, not LR unless I am mistaken. I have the latest copy of PSE, but haven't delved into it yet and really do not know how to use it. I am very comfortable and pleased with Lightroom. I just upgraded to LR6 for the HDR and Pano features. I know that free software is available for these features, but it is convenient and handy for me to have everything in one package. So the questions are: 1. Does anyone know of a plugin that will easily remove the objects I described? I realize that there is a healing brush and maybe I just need to become more efficient at using it? 2. What are some of your favorite plugins (free or otherwise)? I am an advanced amateur and this is all a serious hobby for me....no pro work. Thank you.

I use an Aliner A frame popup for my astronomy outings. They go up in about 10 seconds (literally!) and have many different configurations/ models to choose from. They are lightweight, you can see over the top of them and the new ones offer lots of options! http://www.aliner.com They are not the cheapest in the world, but they are very well built.

A recent thread posed - I think in jest - a picture of an old Chevy Truck with what appeared to be a sheepherders trailer on the back that with a bit of fixing could make an ideal camper for photographic exploring - "The search may be over... May hit the road w/camera's"

I have been looking for something that is smaller that would tow behind a mid size SUV but have not found anything that appears to be durable.

Anyone have any suggestions??

Great video! Technically, this should be titled "Earth in Motion", however.

Also check on the tower near Hardin, Illinois which is part of the Lewis & Clark site, Camp Dubois as it may provide some interesting views. Again You will be North of the city at that point. I believe there is a small fee to go up in the tower.

If you are referring to the Confluence Tower which sits at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers, that is HARTFORD, IL, not HARDIN. Hardin, IL is up on the Illinois River. The fee for going up in the tower is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Visits to the top are accompanied by a guide. There are three platforms at 50ft, 100ft and 150ft. You CAN see downtown St. Louis when the weather is clear, but it would not be much to photograph from there.
