Lightroom Plug In Inquiry

I am looking for a plugin for Lightroom that will take out powerlines, poles and other such objects I located one called Wireworm that fills the bill, but it appears to only be for PS, not LR unless I am mistaken. I have the latest copy of PSE, but haven't delved into it yet and really do not know how to use it. I am very comfortable and pleased with Lightroom. I just upgraded to LR6 for the HDR and Pano features. I know that free software is available for these features, but it is convenient and handy for me to have everything in one package. So the questions are: 1. Does anyone know of a plugin that will easily remove the objects I described? I realize that there is a healing brush and maybe I just need to become more efficient at using it? 2. What are some of your favorite plugins (free or otherwise)? I am an advanced amateur and this is all a serious hobby for me....no pro work. Thank you.

Removals are best done with pixel level editors. Any plug in you use will transition your LR file into a pixel editor and bring it back to you in LR when it's done, as a TIFF or jpeg usually. You may as well march right on into Elements and access its tools for removal, which are better than Lightroom's though practice with the LR tool will improve things somewhat.

If you are set on a plugin, and happen to use mac computers, Snapheal does a great job of even complex removals. If Windows, I don't know but I'm sure someone here does...

Photoshop does this better than anything I have tried. And if you have LRCC PSCC is free.

You can easily do it with Elements. It is easier to direct you to youtube and then search for "clone tool" You will see tons and tons of videos.

I'm not aware of any plugin that will do it with LR. There is a healing tool, but I've never had much luck with it doing what I want when it comes to removing things like wires...works better for pimples.

I use PSE12 for all of my removal needs, between the spot healing brush tool, and the clone brush tool, you can get a very clean removal and blend. Here is a quick tutorial on the spot healing tool.

Thank you for the replies! It sounds like I need to suck it up and get going with the PSE 13 I purchased! I will watch a few videos and see what I can glean from them. I am not sure how my workflow will be done, but I'll figure it out.

PSE will do the job first-rate. If it's OK with you I can show you how PSE can release a tiger from a wire pen :) The healing tool in PSE is awesome.

Onone software. The clone tool way better than LR. Get the whole Perfect Suite 9 designed to work with LR.
