All of the prior Windows had access so that software could be deleted through a remove software under settings. I replaced Norton with AVG and Norton Security doesn't offer to delete itself with any remove options. How do I get rid of it from Windows 10?
There's always eBay - people are still buying, although prices are low. If you don't mind donating, you might consider one of the colleges who are still offering photo courses including darkroom. Here in Connecticut, our community colleges are still doing this, and donations are always welcome - some high schools might be doing this also.
I like your idea of meeting at Starbucks - it leaves your home site clear of any potential danger.
I've just noted that my Canon T5i will occasionally give me a message that it's cleaning the sensor when I shut it off.
I've seen a walking stick that can be converted to a monopod - not sure of the name or where, but I'm sure a google search would find it.
I use dropbox between my home network computers, which works fine. I also used to do some work on elance (too little money for too much time) and some of the clients used it also to transfer files back and forth.
Sorry to hear what "professional photography" has come down to. I was with FPG (Freelance Photographer's Guild) in NYC as a freelance photographer for about ten years. This was prior to digital at all. I worked with 35mm slides and B&W. I had my own darkroom and really enjoyed it. They went out of business in, I believe, the late 1980s - I received all my submissions back, which are waiting to get scanned into my computer. I would be interested to learn what you have for sale. My email address is: nancybutler15@msn.com. You will certainly have far more fun with photography doing it as a hobby rather than a frustrating business. Good luck with your retirement - it's a great way to go!
Life was so much simpler with film cameras! Too many digital choices to wade through!
Thanks, will check it out. Certainly better than trying to wade through 204 pages! Nancy B.
Received the Leica V-Lux 4 this afternoon and shot a few photos while walking my dog (not an easy task). When I got back, I printed out the 204-page manual. Well, that will keep me busy for a while! It looks like this model will work out fine, and I did save $450 from the other model. Glad to have your endorsement. Best wishes, Nancy B. (No more computer between the hours of 1 and 4 a.m.!
Oops! That's what happens when you do things at 3:30 a.m.! Didn't realize that happened until you just pointed it out. Yeah, I wanted the (Typ 114). It's already on it's way. I'll try it out and evaluate it - it may suit me fine. If not, back it goes with an apology for my stupidity!

Here's correct info on the Digital Leica - price and correct vendor. Again, this was through Amazon.com.

Any of the articles I read had the three - the two you mention and the Leica - in the same category and about equal in features and capabilities. I'm very much looking forward to receiving mine - hope they ship quick. I ordered, as I mentioned, from Sammy's in NYC through Amazon - they also featured free shipping. Amazon was more - at roughly the $1400 price, plus tax - free shipping.
The ones from Connecticut certainly haven't been during the last few months! At least during the winter we don't get "mooned!"
