This is at an airport TSA facility when the woman tried to bring 4.2 OZ of shampoo onto a plane... .2 OZ over the limit. Honestly, I'm not kidding you.

And if you really believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Nice photo. Also nice to see you are following advice given to me by my dear Mother years ago...Bloom where you are planted.

I love your shots. Burrowing owls are one of my favorite subjects. We have many, many active burrows in Cape Coral, Florida. I have also photographed them in South Dakota.

I don't use Lightroom. The only way I know of is to copy the image and paste into a new image, using Photoshop. It works for me.

Thanks for the tip. Another Florida legendary rookery located in southwest Florida is the Venice Rookery, located in the heart of Venice. And, once again, it is protected by alligators!

Best is a usb astronomy camera that connects to a laptop. Prices range from $100 up. You can get a decent one for about $300, like the one in the attached photo.

I am interested in what sort of photographs one can achieve with a setup like that. Could you share a few of your photos with us? I was unaware of that sort of technology availability. Thanks.

I am new into photography and was wondering if anyone can give me settings for shooting the Milky Way. I will be in Cabo San Lucas and away from lights.

I have a Nikon D810 with 12-24 and 24-70 lenses.

Thank you for your time and input.

I have done a little of that type of photography with my D800 and a 16mm f2.8 Nikon lens. I used the lens wide open at f2.8, 30 seconds for a shutter speed, and ISO of 6400. If you use anything longer than 30 seconds you will get streaking, due to the earth's rotation. A longer focal length will require an even shorter shutter speed to avoid streaking. You will probably have to experiment with the ISO. You have a great camera for that type of photography. Good luck.

I'm curious what a normal sunny day shot looks like compared to your new flash set up. What is the distance to that tree?

If you are unhappy with Amazon, or any other retailer you always have the option to take your business elsewhere. Dealing with technical help in other countries can be frustrating. As you know, the reason that retailers use off-shore help has to do with the disparity in wages between the U.S. and many other countries. I have had equally difficult conversations with help lines in the U.S.

Frankly, I am constantly amazed at the service I receive from Amazon. To be able to order something from their website and receive it in two days is astounding to me. I find their return policy to be above reproach. Nothing is perfect, and even Amazon will never be perfect. I don't expect perfection, though some apparently do. I am just grateful that Amazon exists. To me, it is a marvel of efficiency, selection, and service.

Tuesday I am going to a painting and drawing group... year... many..... too many since I was a painter. I am taking a photo B&W distorted by several successive post "art" programs and printed on Polar Pearl Metallic by Redriver inc.

The woman was sitting at a group food fest here all others were wearing warm clothing... she was fanning herself... Menopause.... her face was distressed.... The subject, programs, their use, and the paper all go together to make a work of art that would otherwise simply be a photo of a woman in discomfort with competing colors and background.... a So-What photo to a Wow-Emotion-Provoking work of art focused on the woman in anguish.

I would love to see the photo of that lady if you'd care to post it.

I happen to believe creativity can be displayed in post processing. Call it a photo or call it art, it is a real part of digital photography. Some will deny it, but that does not change the fact. It is here and I am glad of it. I love the photo the OP posted.
