South Florida Wild Flowers

I have become enamored with the wild flowers that bloom in abundance all over the world where I have traveled. I now reside in Okeechobee Florida, by the large lake seen in the middle of the Florida peninsula. There are species of wild vegetation unfamiliar to me so I have been shooting some of them. Most folds just pass on by them never noticing their intricate beauty. This Swamp Rosemallow grows all around the lake and I just couldn't pass it up.

Nice photo. Also nice to see you are following advice given to me by my dear Mother years ago...Bloom where you are planted.
