Not so. Maintenance is done and documented by Bureau Number. Don't know where they are on the BA planes but they are there somewhere.

Ask our Pres. how many died there in his place because he received and accepted multiple phony deferments!!
It disgusts me to see him with our military folks!

As self righteous as you might be, my bet is that you aren't old enough to know anything about the deferments of the time. There were deferments for married with children, then just married, for teachers and many others including being enrolled full time in college or university. GWB is not the only man who took advantage of the opportunity, thousands did. He enlisted in a National Guard program as did thousands, the wait list for some was measured in months.

Before you vilify someones choices it might be well to know whatt you are talking about.

Oh by the way, I had several of those "phoney deferments" for my education and one for being a care giver for my quadriplegic best friend. The education was necessary for me to achieve my goal of Naval Aviation.

Buddy of mine had one. We dropped an Oldsmobile 400 CU in engine in it. Went like hammers.

My primary is a 610 that I purchased soon after they were introduced. It's traveled all over with us. It suits my needs altho I admit to occasionally suffering GAS for something in the 800 series.

My backup is a D7000. One good thing is that the controls are similar and the battery is the same.

A good used one would be an ideal backup. IMHO

I go often (pre-pandemic) and I take my 16-15 F4 and my 28-300 with my D610. I have a back pack that handles my computer the gear, polarizer, and accessories plus my headphones.

Don't know about nationally but the other Washington (the one with the second highest gas tax and the eighth worst roads) has been talking abut it for several years. Just another way for the uber liberal Democrats that run the state to tax and spend.

I'd read the same thing when it was being developed and during its career. However, didn't it give us lots of valuable information on the swing wing, later incorporated into the F-14 and B-1?

The only thing it taught us was that some wonk from the auto industry didn't know his a** from page eight when it came to the needs of the military. Responsible for countless deaths in VN.

If I remember correctly the F-111 AKA McNamara's folly was the first of several misguided attempts to build a multiservice fighter. They managed to kill at least one and maybe two test pilots trying to land aboard the carrier. It seems that when the A/C rotated into approach attitude the engines would flame out. It was also too heavy when the landing gear was beefed up to handle the stress of carrier landings. For some reason every attempt to build a multi-service fighter struggles with the same issue. You'd think they'd learn.

You are either a boater or not. We look at ours as our entertainment budget. It's spendy but what the hell. We love our afternoons on Puget Sound and weeks in the San Juans. I've grown up as a boater and boat mechanic at Malibu Club in Canada. Our 35 Sea Ray is our fourth boat. It's a 2-4-6 boat. Drinks 6; Eats 4; Sleeps 2.

Bought one of these for my wife as a bridge. She loves it. I use it occasionally when I can't carry my 610 FF. I like it a lot. I would think its big enough unless your hands are huge and clumsy.

I started with PS in version 5 so began with Bridge. I shoot mostly in Raw and JPG Fine. I process first in Bridge then move to PS for several processes (if necessary) then save the results in TIFF. This allows me to retain the original file unchanged. I use the same file name for the save … just precede it with a PP.

Works for me.

*Blessed are those that can give without remembering and take without
forgetting.*

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked.
about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you,
I'm doing community service this week. ‘The florist was pleased and left the
shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank.
you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the
barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community.
service this week. ‘The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning
when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen.
donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill,
the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing.
community service this week. ‘The Congressman was very happy and left the
shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen
Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the
citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

As Ronald Reagan said: "Both politicians and diapers need to be changed.
often and for the same reason.”

I've been to a few War Museums in various places including the one in London. This one is incredible and definitely on the road trip bucket list.
