But you do not seek the good quality, you want the perfect . Then you also try to reach the 800mm +. With those parameters in mind you need to be a bodybuilder to use this lens. So how do you feel about the Nikon P1000. On your scale of acceptance is the quality difference so big and visible ? I saw the pictures from that camera and I was amassed by their quality (on 4K monitor). Yes, I understand there is a professional and amateur perception. Do you mind to address it …. just a little?

Sorry to place my Q here. I have Tamron 16-300. I like it but others say "Buy Sigma!!" Now there is the comment that Sigma is worse than Tamron. I am looking for 18-400. My Tamron already was repaired and now again the AF goes to hell. I am not a photographer, so I do not take many pictures. Any comment-> Tamron vs Sigma ? Miro

I live in Orlando and I get a lot of birds, but my 300mm is a kind of short guy. I thought about Nikon P1000, but in my 71 I guess I will slow down. I must check the Green Cay site too.

Regardless of Corona, I am planning a trip and I want to be super light. I can use my mobil Android Galaxy8+ which may be better than iPhone (photo-wise). Or I have been thinking about a $400 deal = GoPro. It is 12 Mpix . I am not interested in video, but they say it is easy to cut the frames out of it.

Is there anybody who has experience with it ? I do not do any postprocessing ,so I do not need RAW. 12 meg is nothing to brag about, but not bad either … for me.

Please look at these 2 pics. One is cropped. I have taken a few pictures in my yard. Most of them are OK, but a few are with the bird having blue eyes.
Does anybody know why ? I do no think I have changed anything in my camera. (Nikon 7100 + Tamron 16-300)

nadelewitz …. I thought universal is quite clear = "works everything but nothing perfect". I am not a photographer so the quality of this zoom lens 16-300 is just fine for me. I do not want to change lenses, so this one is like having a coat and underware in one piece. Gotcha?
