The flat blade was used to pry hubcaps off, and as lever to turn the circular part of the jack, which the hook grabbed, and turn the gears that in turn turned on the acme thread to raise the jack. The only difference is the configuration of the socket. Mine was sized to fit the hex lug nuts on the wheel. It was a British car.

I won't be getting under a car with a jack that used this tool. It is only 6 1/4" long. You won't get much leverage with it. The eBay post is identical but the discription doesn't ring true. I have bikes too and I won't be jacking them up with it. I think the brake adjuster is the closest, maybe hubcap remover,square drive to adjust the shoes and the hook to pull the return spring back on the shoes after replacement.
