Thanks everybody! I will get to work on it right now!
I love them, but the one with the barrels has a smoke detector on the ceiling. I would clone that out. I bet they would be cool in b&w and/or HDR.
Tinman, I've lived here for over 20 years, seen lots of pics of the Biltmore House, but NEVER seen it used in the background! Unique perspective. I see a story of a very rich couple out for a nice little romantic boat ride. Lovely!
Your shots are beautiful. Good luck!
Dlevon, no I have not checked alignment. I will give it a shot also. Thank you.
I have Corel Paint Shop Pro, Picture It {no longer manufactured)Gimp, Raw Therapee, Nikon software, Canon Software, and Lightroom 4 plus the Beta Lightroom 5 which isn't out yet. For me (not a professional) the most useful is either Lightroom or Corel. I sometimes use them together. I don't like Gimp-too hard for me and too much like Photoshop. I took classes on Photoshop and decided it was just too difficult for everyday use. The rest of my software is never touched-just taking up space on my computer.
No winner for me. Darn!! Guess I'll forget about that $12,000 lens I had my eye on for my Rebel T3!
Thanks, guys. I really appreciate the help. It self cleans every so often, but it can't hurt to deep clean, I'm sure. I'll give that a try, and williamgood, you reminded me that once I didn't have a cartridge "cliked" into position completely, so I will check that also.
Just checked my ink levels again to make sure and none are even close to being low. I just can't imagine why it does this. I usually pick "best photo" setting, used the correct paper. I only use Epson ink for my Epson Artisan 837.
What a beauty! Don't loose hope! We once had a cat that disappeared and then showed up 1 1/2 yrs. later sitting on our patio. We were in the process of moving and had gone back for a marble table insert we had forgotten after everything else was out of the house.
Markeisenbeil, your photos are always interesting and well photographed! Thanks!
Amazing! Right down to the look on the "hangee" closest in the 2nd shot! Great job on photographing it!
Thanks williamgood, my ink levels are fine. The lines were on the 1st but not the 2nd,which makes me think it must be the software. I am using Lightroom 5 Beta version, and wonder if that was something they did to force you to buy the newest version when available.
Hi Guys,
I recently saw a post concerning a thin line on photos from MWojton, who thought it might be a problem with his lens. My problem is that I get a series of the same sort of lines across my entire photo if printed from Lightroom. If I print from the file it's fine and actually the quality is slightly better. Anyone know what might be causing this?
Congrats, photo guy! And thank you for the very dangerous service you perform! I have a good friend who's a fireman, and I always felt that we should all be more grateful to those who save our children and risk their lives!
