I really like tage last one.
FYI pictures taken with Canon T1i and 18-250 Tamron lense in 2014. Just shows that often don't need best equipment. Today the camera still going with son-in-law, lense sold but missed today, sold with 7D2 when purchased 6D2....
Lake Dillon CO, short hike by lake...
The Tetons and Rocky Mtn NPs are my favorite places to hike, take pictures, AND sit and drink some wine with cheese and crackers just enjoying the views....
I got the Windows version; but had issues getting it going also, had to re-read instructions to see my missed steps, then all okay....
I'm at 68 and for my decrepit age I recently upgraded to the Canon 6D2 and the EF 24-105 F4L II. But I already have 4 other EF lenses so Nikon not a realistic option and the "wee bit smaller" sized Sony A7 models not appealing in the least bit.
I had a Nikon Coolpics between SLRs, was at best okay, after a year I went to a DSLR.....
Agree with checking eBay, I've saved over $800 for two Canon purchases (new items) , gray market, but both registered for warranty with Canon no problem.
Welcome! I'm also waiting on spring.....
Some really funny comment regarding camera brands! Canon is a very good brand, AND so is Nikon, and so are several other brands.
As a beginner pick a camera that is easy for you to use, a local camera shop might be best to provide information/knowledge on this.
Sooooo much better then my Yosemite pics....
They Canon 70-300 IS is nice and can be decent macro lense also. Been around for some time so should be not hard to get a decent used one.
