IMHO the 1-st and 4-th pictures are very good but in the 2-nd and 3-rd main subjects are very small and I would recommend to crop them. All of them are well exposed and sharp.

You are right. I'll keep that in mind for next time. Thanks for viewing.

Not sure why, but had issues uploading more than 1 or two images.

Spent some time this past weekend at the zoo. This is my first attempt at shooting in manual, except I had the ISO set to auto. Most of these were taken indoors. Feedback greatly wanted so I can continue to learn. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the zoo for the first time in over 25 years.

Beautiful shots. I like the last one best. Can almost see John Wayne riding his horse towards the mountains. :)

You have turned on highlight notification within your menu. Go into your menu and find highlight notification and turn it off. I own a canon so not sure where you will find it in the Nikon menu system.

Didn't mean to say it was your operator error, but my own errors when I had a problem. But interested in what Canon says about it when you get it back. Good luck.

Not operator error....Canon tech familiar with this issue. Thank you for your reply.

I shoot with a 7d mk ii and have never had a problem like that or any other problem with the camera (that wasn't operator error).
