Just returned from a brief, 3 day, trip to Yosemite. Bridal Veil and Yosemite Falls both flowing. Not at all crowded, even had lunch at the Ahwahnee hotel without reservations. However one of our favorite spots, Glacier Point, will be closed all year for repairs to the access road. Also direct access to Bridal Veil falls is closed due to repairs to the parking area. My favorite time there is early spring for the falls or winter with snow. Summer is bumper to bumper and access this year is going to be quite limited. The falls will probably be dry by late June this year, if not sooner. You should definitely get to Yosemite at least once. It is amazing and a photographers dream. Good luck.

Thank you to all who have replied. I will probably go with KEH, especially since B&H doesn't have the lens, used, in stock right now.

I have always purchased new from B&H. I'm considering a used Fuji 50-140 from either B&H or KEH. I have sold used equipment to KEH and been happy with them. Would I be better off buying used from KEH or B&H? Is there a rating level I should stay above? Is excellent OK for KEH or should I stick with Excellent + or better? Same for B&H 9 or 9+ or better? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy new? Thanks in advance for your replies.

It takes 11 photo judges to change a light bulb. One to change it and 10 to tell you how you could have done it better!

I have several B&W polarizing filters which are virtually impossible to rotate. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Just to clarify, I can easily remove them from the lens, just can't rotate the filter on the lens.

Since you bought the XT3, you might be interested in these U Tube videos. pal2tech He does strictly Fuji and they are most informative.

Enjoy your new camera. I've thought about the 35mm, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

One more vote for Fuji. I have Canon FF and bought Canon M series for lighter weight. It was considerably lighter, but I was not happy with the image quality. I rented a Fuji XT4 from Lens Rentals. Soon thereafter, I bought one. I love it. It's lighter than my Canon FF and image quality is comparable. Much easier to travel with. I bought the XT 4 with 16-80 lens and am patiently waiting for the 70-300 to arrive at B&H.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad, I 7 chip, that last year I changed the 500mg HDD to a 2 TB SSD. With the most recent upgrade to Lightroom, it slowed to a craw. I contacted LR and they said latest upgrade needs 16 g of ram. So I upgraded that and all is fine. I upgraded the screen when I ordered it from Lenovo. I should mention I'm using Windows 10.

Thanks to everyone for their helpful information. Thanks especially to Craggy. I had found individual Pal2 Tech videos, but not the entire listing. Love my new XT4. It just has such a nice feel to it. Waiting for the 70-300 to go on sale and the stimulus check.

Does the front control dial only control aperature on some lenses? I have read the manual, but maybe I missed it. Thanks for your help.

1. Antarctica - most mazing place I've ever been
2. Africa - Kruger in a jeep with few others, but many amazing places
3. Italy - love Venice, but Positano and Cinque Terra close behind
4. Yosemite - closer to home, any time of day is good, but sunset the best

I have it on my 7D II. It is a great walking around lens. 100-400 is probably sharper, but you lose the wide angle view. If you are shooting for yourself, it is sharp enough. If you are shooting to sell images, maybe not sharp enough. But, a great walk around, light weight lens. It stays on my 7D II all the time.
