People who are telling you to get the em1 haven't responded to your needs. It is a great camera but MUCH more expensive. I like the idea of selling both your bodies for a refurbished em10 mark ii. I have found that the improved stabilization makes a significant difference
I meant Olympus omd, not canon
I too started with the X700 and then went to the sx50, which I love. I've upgraded to a canon omd. The picture quality is better, I enjoy having to think more before I take a picture. However, I was spoiled with not having to change lenses. Forget about the sx60. Other than some added length, which you can't handhold anyhow, there is no advantage to it
The Olympus em10 ii has a lot of the same features (except being weatherproof) and is significantly less expensive. I own that and the sx50, which I now use only for the zoom. You can get a pancake lens for the Olympus. The camera will then fit in your pocket and is sharper and better in low light

I'm sorry, I don't know how to transfer the link but a recently saw a star-d triopodi on ebay that met your criteria
I'm going on a trip to Central Europe. I own two wonderful travel cameras and can't decide which to take. The bridge camera would eliminate the need for extra lenses. The mirror less, with a Panasonic 20mm, is better quality and would fit in my pocket. Additionally, I have the 12-50 and 40-150 for versatility. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
I only really get to do much photography when traveling. I am now blessed with 2 great travel cameras. Each has its advantages. The Canon is simpler and requires less equipment. The Olympus (with 20mm, 12-50mm and 40-150) is better quality but requires multiple lenses. Since I won't bring both, my dilemma is which one to bring on my next trip. Any thoughts?
I also have the omd m5 but not the mark ll. It can be obtained used or refurbished at a significant discount. I would also recommend the lenses stated above. I find it all to be very versatile and a great travel camera
In addition to camera(used but in excellent shape) I'm offering 14-42mm kit lens, vf-1 viewfinder, vivitar macro and telephoto lenses, charger, 2 batteries, uv and polarizer filters, sunshade and a zeikos bag that it all fits nicely in. I'll entertain all offers
Thanks for the fb. The pm2 is much smaller and the quality is better, but I'll probably go with the sx50 because of the convenience

I've owned the Canon sx50. As an amateur I've found it to be quite serviceable. I've just been given the Olympus pm2 along with a couple of lenses. Which would you recommend as a travel camera?
