Love your comment about rubber bands to keep cut film holders from coming open in backpacks. Have you ever used a cut film holder? The holders on "YOUR" picture show cut film holders that have metal tabs that rotate to lock the dark slide in place so they wont come open in a backpack. I use Fidelity holders never had one come open. I have forgotten lock was in place and had to unlock, rotate lock, to pull slide.
As far as 8GB cards being max for D200.
I use a SanDisk Extreme PLUS 32GB 90 MB/s "SD" card in my D200. Thats right sd card using Digigear SD/WIFI-SD TO CF adapter. So the camera can use larger than 8gb cards even with an sd adapter.
f16 to f22 or bigger number is lower not higher. The number is larger but the opening is smaller. Hench close down the aperture to smaller opening or open up to larger opening smaller number.
VR or not....not really a deal breaker on short focal length
Love VR on 70-200
Had both stick with 24-70....much sharper...when miss 120 take one step forward.
To put all those parts together should take less than two hours for a first time builder. It will take longer to install OS and programs.
Been using Nikon since 1966...almost daily had almost every body since FTN ....using D800, D810, D200 and still have a D70 on a copystand. Still using 20 mm f3.5, from 1967, on latest equipment. Never had a lens mount issue even using 600 mm. Cant imagine trying any other brand with more ruggedness.
First, the word is spelled, "legitimacy".
Second, at least you can spell BS.
Third, this is a true, " legitimate ", real world example of Apple holding images hostage because by client "dared" to use non Apple "approved" software. Never mind that Lightroom is the industry standard.
Apple knows better.
As far as using two software, my client was unaware that by viewing his photos while traveling outside the US, he was blocking the ability to use the software of his choice. After all Apple knows better than the user, just ask any Apple fanboy. I teach Photoshop and Lightroom to advanced users and have found that there are only two keys different on the pc and apple keyboards. Both platforms are capable of doing the same things and are a matter of personal preference. The only real difference is pc can take advantage of accelerated graphics on higher end graphics cards and Apple cannot.
I choose Pc's because I prefer the larger ram available to me and the endless variety of devices I can use because they are not limited by Apple. By the way the plural of computer programs is "software" not "softwares".)
Had a client with same issue. He had looked at photos using "iphoto" while traveling. Iphoto will not let other "non mac" software access them according Apple Support. Solution was export pics to external hard drive, delete pics on Mac. Import from hard drive into Lightroom. Mac is known for their "elegant" solutions.
Paragraphs and puncuation are information.
TRY THEM!!!
I teach photography to high end users including commercial photographers. Have had many switch from Aperture to Lightroom. Never had a request to go the other way. I have 90000+ images from my own concert photography. Can find any image in seconds. Even images that are on storage not plugged into computer. Can work on and edit these images and the next time the hd is powered up all the changes are there. Learn how to use Lightroom the time you invest is nothing compared to the ease of finding your images.
f 2.8 is a larger f stop not a lower f .stop
