The juvenile bickering here is not helpful.

I have shot the Blue Angels on many occasions and CHG-CANON's advice is right on. Shutter priority is the answer with fast shutter speeds.

Ignoring the emotional parts of this dialogue I have successfully used the Micnova GPS-N Plus unit with my Nikon cameras. It is presently $49.95 on Amazon.

For those landscape photographers who are dedicated to the genre, does it make a difference?
Just curious

Not to me . . . I have both.

I second the compliments about Service Photo. We used to live in Baltimore years ago and Service Photo was my place to go, both when they were downtown and then later when they moved to Falls Road. The people who were there were great to work with then. If I had problems now, I would still take the 2 1/2 hike to them.

And I "third" the compliments about Service Photo. There aren't many photography storefronts left, and this is one of the best. They are my go-to store for new and used equipment of all brands and advice on photography, all delivered with a friendly smile by a store full of knowledgeable staff.

Do any of you process images on a cell phone?

Rarely . . . and then only in an unusual situation when time is of the essence.

I've seen several messages/emails recently from "Adobe" that are clearly (at least to me) phishing expeditions. You know to ignore them, so do just that. The primary clue is that the "link" doesn't have the letters "adobe" anywhere.

Confirm with Amex and your monthly charge went through, and if so, continue about your life's business.

I hold my camera with my left hand under the camera. When I adjust the shutter speed my right hand doesn't hold the camera. I use 2 fingers to turn the shutter speed dial. The left hand is for adjusting the aperture, the focus and zoom and cradle the camera too.
I don't want or need the right hand grip.

At that level, it is not going to matter.

I have a friend that was trying to buy a new SUV. She had it down to a BMW and a Mercedes. They looked about the same to me. She was struggling through features, specifications and performance. I asked her what she thought she wanted to be seen driving in downtown Helena, MT. She bought the Benz.

Camera brands are like that. None at the high end will make significantly different images. It will matter more how you are perceived when other photographers see what you have hanging from your neck. Will you be seen as a traditional Canon expert or a skilled Sony technical pioneer.

I've seen Moment lenses receive great ratings. I haven't used them yet, but considering strongly. Here's one review. https://digital-photography-school.com/moment-smartphone-lens-review/

I've used the Moment wide angle lens with the Moment case to mount it. I've been VERY satisfied with both the images and video shot with this pair.

Any suggestions on where to send my Nikon D7200 for repair?

Depending on where you live in Maryland, I rely on Service Photo in Baltimore for equipment and repairs.

Hi Bill. It was taken with the Fuji X100V camera. I shoot in RAW and jpeg. I edited the RAW file for both images.

That's good that you started with the RAW image. Any editing of the RAW is non-destructive. Any further editing of the JPEG generally reduces the quality from the original JPEG.

Were the two radically different JPEGs directly from the RAW, or was one descended from a JPEG?

BTW, I always shoot in RAW+JPEG and work from there depending on what my client wants, RAW or JPEG.

Any help on figuring out what's going on would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I think that I have followed the dialogue here. The questions that I have NOT seen are:
1) What camera was the image taken with? and
2) What was the format of the image out of the camera? (RAW?, JPG?)

Answers to these questions may point us in a direction . . .

Interestingly, this is my second carry-on paired with the Think Tank Airport Security bag mentioned above. Plus, the FRONT side of the Mindshift Backlight 36L has plenty of room for a laptop, iPad, and notebook.
