So, I guess I don't understand. Have watched those videos. Will continue to watch others.

Well, looking at my shot, I knew for sure the speed was too slow. But the problem seems to be that I missed the focus. Is that correct? I kept my finger on BBF the whole time and pressed the shutter release button at the same time. I could see that the focal point was not staying on her. Argh!!

Peterff, that's what I did. Kept my finger on the bbf button the whole time. The focus kept changing and would not stay on her.

Sorry, it was 1/250/sec, not 1/200/sec.

Hi, am posting an image I took of my granddaughter. Had the d750 set on BBF. AF-C, and tried 9, 11, S and so on. Every time I keep holding down the back button AND RECOMPOSE, I miss the focus. You can see that in the image. I had the speed, unfortunately, on 1/200. Was shooting shutter priority. Do I keep holding the BBF button and recompose, or do I lift my finger to lock in the shot? Thanks for the help.

I agree with the first poster. And, my mother used to say, "It's not WHAT you say but HOW you say it!" I pass this information on to my children all the time. It takes a certain amount of finesse to say things without hurting people.

Yes, if you look around Photoshop Elements can be found for $50-$60 dollars. No need to pay the $79 if you look around a bit.

Current Amazon price is $69, but you can easily do better if you look around.

I bought On1 awhile back. I don't think it was too expensive. Might want to check it out.

Wow -- some seriously cranky people on here. cphoto15 asked if anyone had any coupon codes. If you don't have any, don't reply, or reply "I don't have any." But I didn't see a request for a pretentiously dumb lecture on the value of the monthly fee version of Adobe products. YOU may find the fee worth paying. Others don't. Neither is "right." If a user barely scratches the surface of the functions of an Adobe product -- which comprises a large number of us, especially people learning the software -- the monthly fee version could easily be a waste of money. I personally have LR4 and still haven't learned all that that old version can do. I paid for it once and am not wasting money on monthly updates that I'm not ready for. I'd rather master what I already have, rather than buying a bunch of stuff I talk about in forums but never actually use. Furthermore, there are occasionally valid discount codes for buying the non-monthly version of these software packages and, given that it makes sense for many people to NOT buy the monthly version, asking if anyone has any discount codes is a pretty damn harmless request. The world is a nasty enough place -- if all you have to offer is a lecture that does nothing but display your self-centered inattention to the real point of a person's inquiry, do us all a favor and just don't comment.

I agree. All you have to do is be nice. That's what I used to tell my first and second graders. There is free software now called Nik.

Hi, I need a lens recommendation. I have a 24-70 Nikon but I will need a wide angle. It will be for taking pictures of the outsides of different buildings. Can you recommend which lens I should rent? Thanks

I think it's only that price for Mac. Thus the name Macphun Snapheal.

Ok, I actually wound up doing it a different way last night, but I'd like to look at your way again. I tried it, but when I select the inner blanket and do contr j, and follow the steps, it only saves the blanket to the new background without the baby. How do I just select the blanket and still have the baby there? Thanks

Tommy, thanks for the help. I figured it out. I do like the idea of noise on the blanket, though.

Linary, sorry, I meant a shadow around the top of her hat. But it's ok. I have it fixed now. Thanks!
