But if you know it isn't the first camera, it kind of ruins the joke.

Also the photo could be just the erection of the camera some time after it was made,
and then the photo was taken by a camera that post dates it (ie the big one)
then one could reckon that photos of the pyramids spoil the joke...

I can count the many ways to get in trouble with this bike. I wouldn't be able to not twist the throttle and then the trouble would start. Beautiful.

Thanks,

It's like being propelled by the hand of god. A tap on the twist grip
has you at the horizon... It pays to look/plan a long way ahead.

Having said that, it can be ridden slowly with ease, I often use it to
pick up groceries :-) I go interstate on it about twice a year too.

Wow, way too much fun. Great shot.

Thanks. It is an image I like to go back to.
It's a photogenic subject which helps the camera/man a lot... it's
easy to photograph.

I have others of it that I like to go back to as well.

Bebu I stand corrected. Neruto is a better photographer than many here.

And here's a Selfie taken by a feathered friend that I shamelessly took credit for...
I'm so ashamed of deceiving all you all :

The freedom to do your best means nothing unless you are willing to buy the best camera.

What a load of horse feathers.

Give a chimp a $100,000 camera, let it do its best, and see what the result is. LOL

And sharpness is overrated. The most important of all tools in photography is the eye. If you don't have an eye for it, there's nothing can help. And it's pretty easy to see who does and who doesn't, don't you think?

I agree CJ... to a point.

Below (which I feel is a pleasing image) shot with a bridge camera that can be had off ebay for 50 bucks:

I’m not sure how to express my question or raise the issue. Maybe it begs the question of whether a photo of a living thing (like a bird, animal, or human) is subjective “art” or is a capture of objective reality?

A few days ago, I commented glowingly on a particular photo of a bird because I was struck by the intense and unique color of the bird which I had never seen before. I thought to myself how lucky and talented the photographer was to capture this unique bird. Then, in some later comments, the photographer referred to some pp.

Maybe this shows my naïveté. But I was surprised. Maybe we should assume that all published photos are pp.

Obviously I guess a photo can be both art and reality. But in this instance, I would have appreciated knowing that it really wasn’t “real” but an artistic version of realty.

What do you think?

I believe this is art... by Koen Demuynck... in this case possibly commercial art:

Inhalation of vomit due to barbiturate intoxication does tend to do that.

I reckon it would be a simple matter to make the first unit fly... just add wings.
