Went up to Boyce last year to get the colors. Luckily the Pistache trees were at peak color. Even the pomegranates were ripe. That's such a great place and it's an easy ride there from Gilbert I don't know why I don't go more often.

He is doing a series of concerts called An Evening with Itzhak Perlman where he doesn't play much but rather has a conversation with the audience of his life and career with many images from the past. A truly interesting man and a delight to spend the evening with. Been to two of them.

I'm on MAC. I have 3 external drives. One for Time Machine, one for my photos and the third is a clone of the photos drive. External memory is cheap and easily replaceable.
When I take new photos I import them into Lightroom and have Lightroom add them to my photos drive. My Lightroom catalog lives there as well. I then sync the two photo drives so that everything is backed up and up to date.

I think you have a couple of choices. First, the new IMac with 2TB storage and in time you'll get used to the slightly smaller screen. (Wouldn't be my first choice.) Second, the MAC Studio Where you can get up to 8TB storage. Then you can opt for either the Studio Display or another monitor. I have the MAC Studio with a Samsung 32" 4K monitor that also is a TV so I switch back and forth using it as a computer and a spare TV.
On piece of advice I would give you is go for the 1TB storage which is plenty and opt for an external drive(s) for storage. I have two 4TB drives for my photos, one is just a backup of the first. I also have a 1TB drive for Time Machine. I had a 27" iMac intel machine and I lost a ton of photos when it crashed and I didn't have sufficient backup. That's why I use two externals. External storage is cheap and easily replaceable.

Try Photopea.com. It's a web based editor that is very similar to Photoshop. Completely free.

Very nostalgic. I worked for Beseler in the early 70s and help produce and present their Color Printing School. We used that exact filter set for our demonstrations. I had a bunch of them left over but through the years they have all disappeared. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this morning.
